I'm going to explain some stuff here, so it easier to understand (and easier for me because I won't have to put like a dozen author notes per chapter lol)
This might be a pain to read through, but will give you an easier time understanding while reading!
F/N means Family Name!
Y/n means Your name!
The reason I'm doing it like this because Y/N will be Chinese and come from a ancient china setting. Family name is like your last name. Your name format will be F/N Y/N because family names come before chosen names, and Chinese people say the full name when they are not close with someone.
This fanfic takes inspiration from cultivation novels, specifically Xianxia, and some danmei. (Svsss and 2ha fans will know what I'm talking about, as i will be referencing them in the work a lot lolol)
In Xianxia novels, characters practice martial arts or mystical arts to become stronger and extend their lives during it. This is called cultivation, people who do it are cultivators. They often train via mediation techniques and building up "Qi". Qi is the vital energy that exists in all life forms.
High level cultivators can have disciples. As well be in control over these things called sects, each ruler of a sect shall be referred to as Peak Lord.
Hopefully this gives you some context on where Y/N is from, and for anything during the story there will be a author note explaining it briefly.
