The air was foggy, the sky was a light royal blue. Your friend Anna had practically dragged you from the food tents to the circus. You didn't want to go, but Anna loved the circus so of course she took the only person that wouldn't say no to her.
The tent was crimson red on the inside. There was a big cricle in the middle of the stage filled with bales of hay. The seats were wooden, but they were so split that they looked as if they would personally stab you to shreds. The show had finally started after a couple of minutes of waiting. "This is so exciting." Anna grinned and looked back onto the stage.
The first person to come out was this jockey riding a gorgeous white horse that had black spots and a silky black mane. The jockey waved at the crowd of people royal style, smiling at how many people were actually there to see the circus. The horse galloped in a circle following the red paint on the wood mesmerizing him to keep going. Anna reached to her left side and pulled out a bag of popcorn that she bought with her husband's money, boy was he going to be mad. I leaned over to grab a couple of pieces the popcorn but she slapped my hand away.
Next up where these elaphants that where painted all different colors, everybody was shocked to see such a big animal, the elaphants had painted on crowns. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I felt they were trying to trick me into seeing something else, but I knew my imagination wasn't creative enough to make up something like that.
All of a sudden I got this eerie feeling that I couldn't shake off, but I ignored it and tried to make the best out of the show. The tent opened up a little more and these clowns came in their little red cars, and some of them where juggling glass bottles carefully trying to not let one go. After a few little tricks that the clowns did, everybody was getting bored of them, so they quickly panicked to their last resort.
The clowns opened up the tent more and cute little poodles came out, their fur was curled and they were colored pink. The sky started to thunder but the poodles did not get scared. Instead the poodles just went up a ramp and started to balance onto one foot and onto another one in a circle.
My eyes started to get heavy and my head started to turn the next thing I knew my vision was blurry but I could clearly see one thing. The dogs were sitting in a row looking all innocent but then their lips curled up and all their teeth where very triangular and sharp, they were also very yellow.
The dogs started to grumble. I looked to my left side to see how Anna was. Anna had passed out. I tried to shake her, I screamed out her name but it was no use. That's when I realized she was gone. Sweat started to pour down my face. I looked over and the poodles were getting more aggresive. That's when I decided to run. I ran for my life. I ran through the people that were passed out. As I was running I looked around. The once crowded circus was now empty.
I ran until I couldn't anymore. I ran four blocks thinking I had lost those poodles but then I turned around and then they were staring at me with their eyes that were innocent.
The familiar feeling of my head spinning started to come back again and my vision got blurry. I tried to run again but I couldn't I tumbled and fell down onto the hatd concrete. My head was in pretty bad shape. I reached my hand up to my head and all I could feel was blood that was running out of my skull. Eventually I heard a pitter patter coming towards me and then I felt four paws on my legs walking towards my face. "HELP!" I begged for someone to help me but no one did.
The dog was slowly getting closer and closer towards me until eventually I saw the pink poodle once again. The other two dogs where by his side but on the concrete. The poodle lifted his little paw and put it on top of my mouth to make me quiet, the dogs went up to my head. That's all I remember.
