Chapter 6

V drove towards the meeting spot with a case for the deal. There weren't many skyscraper-filled, city-like areas in Daegu. Most of it was farmland and hills. There were therefore many secluded and remoted locations for these kinds of deals. However, neither of the illegal dealers was aware of the police's covert accompaniment.

Criminals such as them were accustomed to being followed by the police on a daily basis. Typically, they care less about these kinds of things. But nobody can truly predict who might meet their demise as a result of these risks at some point.

Once V arrived at the designated location, he exited his vehicle carrying the case.

"Welcome to Daegu, V" the dealer said

"My pleasure", he greeted eyeing the goons hiding in nearby bushes with their guns pointed.

"Hoping to find no defect in the goods"

"Oh no not at all" V said walking closer

"Nuh" the mob said, "Stay where you are in your position. We'll get the case from you"

"Yeah sure huh" V scoffed

The mob was about to walk closer when V threw the case at them. As the case got closer, they were about catch it. But it blasted off !

V got into the car right away and noticed the police cars following him.

"Fuck" He whispered under his breath

He drove off as fast as he can while the police chased after his car. They were at a remoted area so there weren't many well flourished roads. Reaching the edge of the hill, V took a turn to go into the jungle area with the police behind then into the village market. Some police cars drifted infront surrounding him from all direction. He quickly pulled the car back to drive into another narrow route. The police cars immediately drove after but lost all sight of him. They fanatically started looking for him going through all possible routes. The village markets around faced much damage but the police could care less about those right now. They had more important things to do in the middle of such a sensitive situation.

After a matter of few minutes , one police car finally noticed V driving away over a canal bridge. He immediately contacted the cars near that area to take action. Fortunately, they were able to regain position with perfect timing. As they blocked the wanted car's path from both anterior and behind, it all happened before their very eyes....

V pushed on the accelerator taking left turn, and his car fell off the bridge.
The polices jumped out of their respective cars immediately following the scene.

"Retrieve the car!!!!" Echoed amongst them as they hurried down the canal path under the bridge

Before they could even could even act up on circumstance, the car exploded with a huge resonance due to fuel leakage floating on the water of the river it fell into. The flame produced from the explosion spread in the atmosphere like storm howling over the area. The whole village was shaken impacted by the incident.

2 days later...

Namjoon wondered around in the farm area trying to spot Kim Taehyung. He asked around for him before reaching up and the local farmers informed that the boy's a very joyful and hardworking person. He became orphan at a young age and grew up on his own. But he's very dedicated to his farm work. He goes on long business trips with his products and earns more than anyone in the farm with his goods. He isn't the trickster type, rather he's a very honest and bubbly person. He took in a young boy few years ago and now working even harder for the boy's welfare. Hearing those, Namjoon already developed a good impression on the boy he was considering their jackpot.
