Our Golden Hour

Chapter 1

(Y/N and JVKE have been best friends since primary school and now we will get to find out what their future will look like for each other)

It was your last day of Primary School, 8 Years of coming into the same exact place with your best friend JVKE.
You meet JVKE when you were both a Year 1, he was playing with the fake piano and you were singing for him and just like that you became besties.

"Hey Y/N, you excited to leave this place?"
"Not really, I will miss our little spots we used to sing and play at.."
JVKE looked at you, almost tearing up because he felt bad.
"Hey.. look on the bright side! We are growing up!"
"But I don't want to grow up.."

You both walked to class, a smile on JVKE's face and an upset face on yours.

You and JVKE were in the same class and sat right next to each other of course, you were going to miss that though, high school will be a lot different.

(Morning Tea)

You sat down in your usual spot with JVKE, under the oak trees. You took out your Butterfly printed lunchbox and he took out his tree printed lunchbox.

"Wanna trade Y/N?"
"We are not little kids anymore JVKE! We are going to high school next year, we are growing up! You said it yourself"
"I know, I know.. but I want to trade for the very last time at least.."

You finally gave in because you didn't want to cat fight with this boy, JVKE had your favorite food and you had his favorite food, that's why you swapped.

(Class time)

When you were walking back to class, you started tearing up. You realized that was your very last Morning Tea, trading lunchbox's with JVKE and sitting in your usual spot at this school. JVKE noticed you were upset but didn't want to say anything so he wrapped his arm around you and smiled.

(Lunch time)

You didn't feel like eating at Lunch so you went to the Library to try and cheer yourself up, JVKE didn't know where you were so he hung out with his other friends in case you wanted to be alone, which you did. 

(Class time)

That was your very last Lunch time at this school, you couldn't believe this day has finally come and it's about to end..

(Home time)

When the last bell rang you teared up, you felt your stomach drop like an elevator, your heart hurting from the pain. You ran out the school, running to JVKE's house to at least hug him to help with the pain. 

You ran up to JVKE's front door and knocked a million times until he finally answered.
"What is it?"
"I need to hug you.." 
He grabbed you by the waist and hugged you tightly.

'I will always be here for you Y/N.."

Butterflies started swarming your stomach because you have never heard those words come out of his mouth before.

"Really?"

"Yes.. I promise"

He looked you in the eyes and smiled.

"I better get home before my Parent's get worried"

"I'll see ya later Y/N"

You both waved goodbye, you walked home thinking about that warm smile, blushing.

"Am I falling for my bestfriend?" You asked yourself

(After the holidays)

You and JVKE hanged out everyday over the winter break, spent Christmas together and new years and now your going to spend your High school years with him.

(First day of Highschool)

You were nervous to start a new school but you knew you had JVKE so you would be okay. 

Once you got to the gates, you took a deep breath and walked in.

"Y/N!" 

You turned around an saw JVKE running towards you, you were excited to see him even though you spent ALOT of time with each other in the holidays. 

"Hey JVKE!"

You both hugged each other, he lifted you up and spun you around.

"I missed you Y/N.."

"I legit saw you like 2 days ago!"

You both laughed.

"I can't be away from you" JVKE whispered in your ear.

You blushed.

"Come onnnn, we don't want to be late for our first class!"

You grabbed JVKE by the hand and dragged him along.

(After school)

You were walking back to JVKE's house to hang out for a bit.

You layed on his bed, JVKE right beside, you both turned your heads and looked each other in the eyes.

"So how'd you like our first day of high school?" JVKE asked you

"Eh, it was alright, really different from Primary"

"Agreed"

You both giggled.

(Couple hours later)

You fell asleep on JVKE's bed, you were exhausted from your first big day.

JVKE then woke you up.

"Y/N.. Wake up.."

You groaned.

"Come on...."

You slowly opened your eyes, his face directly in front of you. He smiled. 

"What time is it..?" You said while rubbing your head.

"It's 7:00pm" 

"WHAT?! MY PARENT'S ARE GOING TO KILL ME!"

"Don't worry! I messaged them asking if you could have a sleepover and they said yes!"

"They agreed even though it's a school night?"

"Well we still go to the same school so.."

You hugged him.

"Woah, you okay?"

"Yea, my parent's just fight a lot and they always blame me so that's why I said they would kill me if I was home late.."

"Oh.."

You started crying .

"Are you crying?"

JVKE pulled you off him and looked at you. His eyes widen and wiped your tears.

"Aww Y/N.."

He pulled you in, you were crying in his chest and he was stroking his hand through your hair.

You stopped crying.

"You okay now?"

"Yea, can we go to sleep now, I'm tired.."

"Oh yea, sure, do you want to sleep in my bed and I can sleep on the floor?"

"Thanks.."

You hopped into his bed and he tucked you in, he got into the sleeping bag which was on the floor, you both fell asleep.

(1 year later)

You had changed a lot over the year, you got taller, changed your clothing style and maybe developed a crush on your bestfriend. You know, your bestfriend, JVKE. 

You and JVKE had the same classes together, how did the Teachers know, is that even possible that your one bestfriend has ALL the same classes as you?

You wanted to confess to JVKE you liked him but you were too scared.
