Noah Pearls Chapter 1

"The prom kind of Newcastle High is Noah Pearls, and his Queen, Mariana Mires. May I have them both come up here and get their crowns?"

There it was, my name, Mariana Mires, Newcastle High's 2023 prom queen.

I made my way on the stage with Noah and he held my hand as he was walking me up. We both got crowned and had the chance to say something but we passed.

"How about, the king and queen's first dance." The guy said on the microphone, and the next thing I knew there was a spotlight on me and Noah.

As Noah joined our hands together he pulled me close and started dancing. I moved myself closer to his ear before I whispered, "How about instead of Jess's after party we can get a hotel, for just us?"

I could see him turn red, of course he did, he's my "boyfriend" and I basically just told him I want to give myself to him.

After the song ended the floor was filled with more people, I went to the bathroom to freshen up, and take pictures of myself in the crown and sash.

There was no doubt I would win, I won homecoming as well, except my king was Andrew. I think Andrew was the worst of all the guys I've dated, he used me for my body and cheated on me with 3 different girls.

I ran into Noah when I left the bathroom, I took his hand and walked out of the building with him, "Where are we going?" I could hear him ask, I ignored it and opened the door to the passenger side.

He got in the drivers side while I held my dress and got in the car.

His hand ran up my leg towards my upper thigh as he drove, I could feel him occasionally get higher a couple times.

As he pulled into a parking lot I got out my purse that was full of money and got out of the car, I pulled out the backpack I packed before I left because I knew I would need it.

I walked in the building and asked for a one bed room and then made my way to the 3rd floor with Noah.

I swiped my card on the reader and looked back at Noah before opening it and putting my stuff down.

I put a spare outfit on. Noah stood behind me and kissed my shoulder, I turned to face him and I kissed him before I pulled him on the bed with me.

Noah pulled me close to him, my head facing his chest and his hands grabbing my thighs.

I got up and saw that Noah was still sleeping, I left the room with my slippers and went to the cafeteria and picked up a couple things, I grabbed a cup and filled it with water and grabbed a plate of food.

I made my way back upstairs to Noah, and set the food on the table. I grabbed my bag and opened it, grabbing capsules filled with purple powder. I opened it and put it in the food.

"Noah, baby, I have breakfast for you."

I said before waking him up and showing him the food and water I had brought him. He smiled as I gave the food to him.

I laid on my stomach watching my phone and watching him eat from time to time.

He finished his food and I asked him to go get me an outfit while I stayed back and cleaned up the mess we had made last night.

He grabbed his keys and left the building before my phone started ringing.

"Today's your deadline Mariana, have you done it?"

A male voice played through my phone. "Just did, only a couple minutes till it happens." I replied. "Just a few more minutes and the $5,000 is yours." He said, the sounds of sirens played from outside.

"It's done." I said through the phone, "The money is yours then." The man replied.

A notification played through my phone and I checked it, $5,000 was sent to me.

I hung up the phone before packing up my stuff and leaving the room, I went down the elevator and gave the key card to the receptionist.

I called for a cab and went home, my phone rang, my best friend told me that Noah had passed away, I started crying.

"Noah? Like Noah Pearls? As in my boyfriend of 3 years?" I asked while shedding tears and making my voice crack.

"Yeah, I'm sorry so for your loss, maybe you should talk to his parents, or his sister, I bet she is devastated."

"Okay, I'll talk to them." I said before hanging up the phone. We pulled up in-front of my house and I got out, grabbing my backpack and walking inside.

I turned on the news before sitting on my couch and listening. "Noah Pearls, Newcastle High's 2023 prom king, has been reported dead this morning."

"Police say he was in a terrible car crash, on Classen avenue. His death is considered an accide-"

I shut off the T.V. before checking my phone. A notification came through, "Miley Howe, 15 year old girl, she attends Newcastle middle school, she is the reason my mother is dead. get rid of her."

The text read. I put my phone down before lying down on the couch.
