Before I start writing this I wanna tell you guys I haven't written fan fics in a long while. (You can check my account 😭😭) but I have been a fan of Fairy Tail since I was young. If this fanfic is bad then it is what it is. I'm doing this for fun lol. Also I lose motivation easily, so this fan fic may never finish
The first two chapters are Prologue cuz I wanted to do some of the Phantom Lord Arc cuz I feel like their first meetings should be a little important. After that we're gonna start after the Edolas Arc cuz PantherLilly best boy.
Also cuz I'm so cool and amazing, I'm not doing Y/N cuz I wanna write a story where it seems to make a little more sense to me. Your name is Marina, you have long dark purple shoulder length hair, blue eyes that seem to resemble waves, and skin that's tanned. You always carry around a necklace with a moon charm on it. That is what controls the ocean after all. You got it from your dragon, Watilinia. Your Exceed is Tippy! She's a pink and red exceed and absolutely loves everyone in the guild but doesn't really like a lot of outside people.
I think that's all, if not I'll put more in the next chapter lol

Marina POV
Gajeel Redfox... That's the Iron dragon slayer I've heard so much about. Today we storm Phantom Lord, to take revenge. It was one thing for these Cretans to destroy our guild hall but we can never forgive them for hurting Levi, Droy, and Jet. Luckily they're healing just fine. Like the person who did it didn't actually wanna hurt them.
But that's not what I can worry about right now. We're taking revenge today. For Levi... One of my best friends... I will destroy these fools for messing with us. Natsu, Master, everyone was so mad...
AND SO WE BURST THROUGH THOSE DOORS TO START A WAR!!
"FAIRY TAIL HAS COME CALLING!" Yells Gramps. Everyone starts fighting. Wakaba and Makoa. Kana and Happy. Natsu and Erza. Even Master himself.
But I can see him. Gajeel... he's standing up on a beam. I scream to my cat, Tippy, "TIPPY UP THERE!" Tippy came right to my side and flew me up there and when I got there screamed, "WATER DRAGON ROARRRRR!!" And boiling water sprays over Gajeel.
Gajeel POV
All of a sudden I was watching these Fairy losers getting their asses beat and then I get sprayed with boiling water. I look around and see this hot chick wiping the water away from her mouth. She's being held up by a stupid flying cat. "TIPPY GET ME CLOSER AND THEN GO BACK TO THE GROUND!" I hear the chick yell to the flying cat.
"Hahaha. You made a mistake girly..." I said to her.
Before I could do anything else though she yells out, "WATER DRAGON IRON FIST!" And she fuckin punches me in the face with that boiling water again. This chick definitely has spunk.
"You're getting on my nerves, you know." I say to her, then I scream, "IRON DRAGON IRON FIST!" And I try to punch her but she jumps back before I could hit her.
We keep fighting and all of a sudden their master comes through the ceiling. I chuckle. But for some reason seeing the look on this chick made me feel a bit sad. She charges over to that old man's side. Everyone of those flees retreated... I feel weird... Guilty for some reason....
That girl. She was a dragon slayer too... I didn't even get her name. Now I feel bad. Getting those flies... maybe I made a mistake.

Marina POV
"MASTER!!!" I scream while I run over. We all are around him. We finally leave and re-group. We can't beat them just yet...
Gajeel Redfox... Gajeel Redfox...
Gajeel POV- Some time later/
Those eyes. And that hair. That body too. Why is she still stuck in my mind?? Why can't I seem to get her away from me. We're enemies after all... I can't be with her. Never...
What is her name? I wanna know so bad. I've never been like that before. I've never wanted to know someone's name.
That's when I get hit with someone's staff. "Why did you do that?" I said and then I bashed them away with an Iron dragon iron fist.
The person I pushed away I don't even know their name. I don't care enough to know their name. "I-I y-you we're just sitting there Gajeel. Everyone was worried. You've been there for a few hours!!"
Have I seriously been thinking about her for a few hours? "I don't care! Don't do that again unless you wanna die." I say to that dimwit. I'm being nice right now. I don't know why either. I just feel like being nice. That guy scampered as fast as they could.
I can't believe they seriously sent me here to Headquarters right after all that fighting. To protect this stupid little girl. Though I do wonder about her...

Marina POV
Gajeel... Gajeel Redfox... that stupid slick back black hair. Those stupid iron studs. Those cute red eyes... WHAT AM I THINKING??
Natsu, Happy, Tippy, and I are all going to Phantom lord's base to get Lucy back. They have her. Natsu keeps dragging him to figure it out and luckily we found her. As soon as we seem to get there we can tell she's falling. Luckily Natsu's fast enough to catch her. But I can smell him... "Tippy grab on to Lucy and get going now!"
"B-but what about you Y/N?" Tippy asks, "I'll be fine." I replied.
As they become too far to see I see him come out of the tower, "Gajeel..." I whisper.
"You're the water dragon slayer that sprayed boiling water on me." Gajeel responds, "What's your name cutie?"
CUTIE??
Gajeel's POV
...
I called her cutie. Might as well die now. Though I am right; like look at her. She looked at me and she seemed surprised and she was all red. If it was anyone else I wouldn't even call her anything like that, but her...
"Well water dragon slayer?" I go in for the first hit. "What's the name?" She dodges my attack.
"Why do you wanna know Black Steel Gajeel?" She gets ready to do an attack "WATER DRAAAGON RRROOAARRR" I didn't have time to dodge and I got knocked down.
"Well, I like to know the names of pretty girls I see." I start inhaling the metal around "IRON DRAAGON ROOAARR!!" I was fast enough to hit her. She fell to the ground. I laughed a bit and then she started to get up.
She finally tells me her name, "Well if you must know, Gajeel Redfox, I'm Marina Altgear." She coughs and yells "WATER DRAGON IRON FIST!" And she goes running, I hate to say but she is cute...
We keep fighting for a long while. I don't even know how long it's been, "IRON DRAGON IRON SWORD" and I slashed her side and she fell to the ground.
