Log 1

Hello there, My name Jeremy, I am the driver of a Yellow Tender Engine known as Molly. I have been working alongside her and my partner, Patrick for over 10 years. We are usually well prepared for trains daily but nothing could have prepared us for this.

Log 2

It started out as a normal sunny day. It was June 13th and I was pulling Molly into the station to have a chat with Gordon and we had over an hour till we had to leave with a passenger train to Killdane. Patrick had been telling me about a giant mountain just on the edge of Sodor called Mount Crovan. It's apparently a dormant volcano that hasn't gone off for eons. Me and Pat went into the Cafe for a coffee. A few minutes later we heard a loud boooom and people screamed as they entered the coaches as fast as they could. We knew Mount Crovan had blown. The doors slammed shut and the guards from both trains blew their whistles and both engines sped off out of the station. We knew we had to find some cover to protect ourselves and the engines, then I thought of one place that was close by that we could hide under, Henry's Tunnel. Gordon and Molly sped up as fast as they could. While we were running Molly started to groan in pain as if she was being burned by something. Henry's Tunnel soon came into view and we rushed inside and I slammed on the brakes so we wouldn't pop out of the otherside. Gordon then stopped next to us and we decided to stay in the tunnel for a little while. Me and Patrick jumped from Molly's cab so we could check her over, but when we got infront of her so we could see why she was groaning we were shocked by what we saw. Molly had a few burns on her face, we weren't sure how that happened but Gordon said he saw lava flying in our direction, I guess that makes sense as to how Molly got burned in the first place.

Log 3

After a few hours of sitting in the tunnel we decided to leave and search for survivors. We were approaching the junction before Elsbridge but Gordon being much faster left Molly far behind. Molly managed to get to a red signal and stopped as Gordon thundered past into the distance. Molly whistled for him to come back but Gordon was already gone.

Log 4

We pulled into Elsbridge to search the station, we then found several people hiding in the station including the station master, Kyle. Kyle then explained to us that Emily was here earlier when Douglas arrived with Isabel and Dulcie but then the explosion happened and they both raced off in the direction of Crosby, Thomas passed by later going in the same direction and he wasn't sure where they are now. Molly then saw two coal trucks, a water tanker and a brakevan in the goods shed, so we coupled them up to the back of the coaches.

Log 5

We decided to go check Tidmouth Station to see if anyone was there. When we entered we saw two Brown Auto coaches followed by a familiar red shape. We saw that James had crashed onto the station platform and Alice and Mirabel were still on the tracks. When we got closer we saw a small part of James's face had been burned and he looked pretty scared.

Log 6

We were able to Re-Rail James but it took about 2 hours to do so. We then put Alice, Mirabel, and our coaches and trucks in the carriage shed. When then pulled Molly up next to James and he then relieved his experience. Apparently he was at Tidmouth Hault to collect Alice and Mirabel for Duck when the blast happened. Duck was sitting in the yard taking on water with a toad behind him before leaving for his next train. Oliver was taking a slow goods train to Norramby and Duck needed to collect a ballast train heading for Brendam. The blast then echoed through the yard. Duck then yelled for James to take Alice and Mirabel and that he would find them later. James then pumped his pistons as the last passengers got on board and he raced away as fast as he could. While he was running some lava went flying through the air and landed on the part of his face that got burned but that didn't stop him, he eventually made it to Tidmouth but he was going so fast he swerved into the yard, he tried to break but he couldn't stop in time and ran into the station platform. We were all glad he was alright at least. We then heard from behind us and Edward arrived with a few coaches. His running board and side had been torn up out of shape but he was okay nonetheless. He then said he was returning up his branchline when the eruption happened. He raced as fast as he could to get to Wellsworth and when he exited the branchline Henry passed him with a goods train and a rock from one of Henry's trucks flew out and hit his siderod and caused it to bang his side up and out of shape. He then stopped at Wellsworth and reversed into the yard, his crew then searched some of the trucks that were in the yard and found one of his siderods in a utility van. Thankfully some of the people that were in Edward's coaches were workers, so they were able to fix his siderod. While he was having his siderods mended he saw Emily and Douglas race past the station but Emily was sent down the branchline while Douglas continued down the mainline and earlier he saw Gordon pass by possibly heading towards the Vicarstown Bridge. After waiting around awhile he traveled down the line until he got to Crosby when he saw Percy in the sidings with some red branch line coaches. He talked with Percy for a little while until he said he wanted to check for more survivors. He then arrived at James's field where he saw that Thomas had derailed into the field along with a goods train. Edward then told Thomas that he was going to look for a crane to help him but he hadn't found one yet. James then said that there was a crane at the sheds, so we could use that to re-rail Thomas. We also tried to ask where Henry and the others were but Edward said he didn't know.

Log 7

James and Edward then went to Tidmouth Sheds and picked up the cranes and we went to James's field to re-rail Thomas. When we finished re-railing Thomas we saw that he was missing an eye and had a few cuts. Thomas told us that when he crashed into the fence some wood went flying and cut him in the eye. James then went to Crosby to collect Percy and we traveled by Tidmouth Sheds.

Log 8

It was nighttime by the time we arrived back at Tidmouth Sheds and we began asking the others what happened. Thomas told us he was at Tidmouth collecting his goods train to take to Brendam when the volcano erupted. He raced away from Tidmouth as fast as he could but when he exited the tunnel just before Crosby he went too fast around the bend and flew off the tracks and crashed into the fence and was knocked out when he hit the ground hard. He later woke up when heard Gordon pass by. He sat in the field until Edward arrived and told him he would help him.

Log 9

Percy then explained that he was pulling a passenger train and passed Henry on his journey, but then the volcano erupted and he was in shock. He raced as fast as he could to find shelter, but when he approached Crosby he saw he was on a collision course with Emily, he applied and wait for the impact, but suddenly his wheels swerved into the sidings and he got out of the way just in time but he was still going a little fast and crashed into some utility vans, thankfully he managed to stay on the rails as Emily and Douglas flew past. A few minutes later he heard a crashing sound coming from James's field and later on he saw Gordon fly past down the mainline and Edward came into the yards an hour later.

Log 10

We all then decided to get some sleep and look for more survivors tomorrow as it was getting late, hopefully we will find more engines and people tomorrow.
