Running back into the building and up in the room she was in, the woman saw that Victor was now there. Taking off her jacket, Laura let her claws grow and her eyes glowed bright blue.

"Victor!" She growled loudly, and charged at the man.

The two of them instantly went at each other, Laura being the first to strike and lodged her claws into his stomach, smashing him onto his back. Victor then grabbed her arm, and flipped her body away from him. When she stood up, she was met with claws to the face, making her let out a hiss.

Glaring at the man, she struck again but he saw it coming and moved out the way to slash at her ribs. Quickly, she swung her right hand around and was able to cut deeply into his back.

Laura then swung her feet at his legs, making him flip over and land on his hands and knees. She then sent a very harsh kick to his stomach, and sent a kick to his head.

"I never thought i would have to fight you, Victor. You were like a brother to me, i loved you like one" She puffed out, as she watched the man groan as he stood up. For a second Laura thought she saw his eyes soften, but that quickly went away when he ran at her and the two fell through a glass wall.

Before she could fall on her back, Laura sunk both her claws into his back and spun them around. Victor landed roughly onto his back, and let out a choked out grunt.

Laura sat up slightly, and moved to slightly dig her claws into his neck. But she did say or do anything, she just glared at him which made him let out a laugh.

"Feels good, doesn't it? All that rage. Do it" He whispered, with a small smirk on his face. Laura's face softened slightly, and somewhat moved her claws away from his neck.

"Laura!" She heard someone yell from above where she and Victor fell. The woman breathed heavily, as the woman looked up at her husband.

"You're not an animal, remember? You told me that" He said, looking at her with pleading eyes and she could feel herself pull away.

"Oh, yes, you are. Do it. Finish it" Victor pushed, and he could easily see the conflict in her eyes. Laura felt her hand shaking, as tears appeared in her eyes. She wanted to kill him, she really did. But she couldn't find it in herself to do so.

The woman retracted her claws, and without hesitation, she knocked Victor out instead. She got up off the unconscious man, and walked away from him. She lifted her hands to her face, panting heavily.

Laura was thinking about what Victor had said to her. About her rage and how good it felt. Usually, she would never agree but for a sliver of a moment....it did feel good, and it scared her greatly.

"Laura?" She heard Logan say again, but this time he was closer to her. She gave him a sideway glance, but didn't say anything so instead he spoke up.

"The others. We need to help them. You were right. We do need to save them, otherwise who knows what might happen to them later" Logan said, as he walked closer to his wife who still hadn't said anything.

"I'm sorry if it seemed like i didn't want to save them. I did...i do. I just...when Stryker pointed that gun at you and mentioned that the bullets could actually kill you, i--i grew scared. I didn't want you to die for real this time" By now, he was facing her and had placed a hand on her cheek making her look at him properly.

"Please, baby. I love you so much, i was just scared...i still am. But saving them is what needs to be done, so let's do that, huh" He spoke softly, grazing his thumb over her cheek bone. Laura let out a soft sigh, and leant into his hand more.

"I'm sorry too. I was blinded by rage for what he did to us, i didn't seem to even care that i could've died in that moment and-" Laura started to ramble, but was cut of when Logan pressed his lips onto hers. It was quick, but sweet and tender. The two pulled away, and looked into each others eyes.

"Let's go be superhero's" Laura whispered, causing Logan to roll his eyes with a smile as the two ran towards a large door. Pulling the lever down, it opened and the two ran inside.

Instantly, they saw a heap of cages filled with mutants. It broke Laura's heart to see them all locked up, like animals.

Using his quick thinking, Logan extended his claws and ran down the hall while cutting into the cages. Once he was done, he looked back and saw all the mutants walking out. Laura smiled as she walked down the hall towards him and then turned to the crowd.

"Alright everybody, we're going to get you out of here. So, in order for that to happen, we need to stick together, okay" Laura spoke loudly, hearing the crowd agree.

Logan watched on, feeling a deep sense of pride and love towards the woman. Man he was lucky. Turning to her husband with a smile, the man gently grabbed her hand and started to lead her and the rest out of the holding room.

When they got to the main doors, they stopped when they opened and saw a person standing there. Laura let go of Logan's hand and stepped forward.

Squinting her eyes slightly, she saw a bald man and it looked like he didn't have a mouth. There were black lines running over his body and his eyes held an empty look.

It didn't take her long to figure out who the person was, causing her eyes to widen and a hand to cover her mouth.

"W-Wade?" She stuttered in shock and sadness. This definitely wasn't the Wade she knew, and that scared her. Logan stood beside her, his claws out and he stared at the man. Everyone's eyes widened once they saw two long singular blades come out from between Wade's knuckles.

Laura looked to Logan, who eyes were still on Wade.

"Holy shit" He muttered, looking at the blades. Laura gulped nervously, and turned to one of the mutants behind her.

"Get these kids out of here. Find another way out, be sure to stick together and make sure that no one gets left behind. Go" She ordered, and watched as the group ran in the opposite direction. Her attention the went back to Wade, and got into a defensive stance.

"Wade, is that you?" She heard Logan ask, and she watched Wade tilt his head slightly.
