Jake was awoken but his phone chiming he looks at the caller id -ALEX <3- He smiled to himself and answered "what do you want a 3am" he smiled when he heard his best friend giggle "Well hello to you too" he both laughed "wanna go for a run?" she asked biting her lip hopefully. Jake stretched out and yawned "ummm yeah sure come here though i don't feel like meeting up somewhere" she sighed and replied "wow fine BE LIKE THAT" he laughed as she hung up. Alex hangs up and does a happy dance around her room and gets ready putting one a sports bra tank top and short shorts checking herself out in the mirror before driving over to Jakes she pulls up and walks to the door quietly entering and heading up the stairs as she walked up she head Jake singing she smiled listening "the scars of your love remind me of us they keep me thinking we almost had it all rolling in the deep" she peeked through the door as he strummed his guitar singing he head her giggling and stopped "hey Alex" she pouted walking in "why can't you ever just let me listen?" he chuckled and put on his runners "ready to go?" she nodded and headed out the door. They started jogging and they were listening to their music going their pace she ran ahead of him signalling she wanted to race he shook his head speeding up they raced towards the park laughing she beat him sticking her tongue out he chuckled shaking his head taking his music out of his ears "hey can i come to your dance practice i miss going" she looked at him nodding "yeah but watch out a lot of those girls are panthers" she hisses making a cat claw he rolled his eyes sitting on the swing she sat beside him "nah i don't mind i mean that one girl is pretty fine" he kicked his legs "player" she coughed he glared at her swinging "well I'm gonna go" he nodded "ok bye" she rolled her eyes and walked away. He stayed for a bit trying to clear his head "yeah I'm an asshole" he jumped off the swing and headed back to his house seeing her drive away he hung his head in guilt. He got into his room and sat on his bed closing his eyes and rolling his neck he grabs his phone and texts her [I'm sorry for being an ass i promise i'll come watch your dance and i will be there for you not anyone else I promise I'm sorry Alex] he laid in his bed waiting for a reply after ten minutes his phone buzzed [I honestly don't care if you are there or not we both know you will end up chatting soon blonde bitch so come if you want just don't bother saying hi to me] Jake filled with anger and he through his phone at the wall. After alex sent it she felt terrible she ran her hand through her brown hair sighing she pulled up to her house getting out and heading in "MOM IM HOME" Her mom rushes out of the kitchen "ALEXANDRA WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN" alex rolled her baby blue eyes and looked at her mom "I went for a run with jake like i do every morning" her mom hugged her "You need to start leaving notes you scare me when you just leave like that" alex hugs back "sorry mom" Alex and her mom talked for a bit before she headed upstairs and climbed into the shower. Jake walked up to her house and was let in by her mother Jake walked into her room sitting on her bed listen carefully as she sang (turn on stay by rhianna) he listened with awe not knowing his best friend had that voice in her. He heard the shower turn off and cleared his throat she wrapped the towel around her body slowly opening the door "JESUS FUCK JAKE" her hand flew to her chest "i-i-i am sorry i didn't mean to scare you" he secretly checked her out and smiled she laughed "you heard me sing didn't you" he nodded slowly "you got a voice" she giggled "thanks" he bite his lip "i love your giggle it's so cute" her stomach filled with butterflies.
