A S H L E Y
I heard a blood curdling, hair raising, death defying scream. I ran through the maze of alley ways, until I reached a cross. Right in the middle was a man holding a limp body. Blood covered the ground and the knife he held in his right hand.
He looked up, his dark eyes piercing into my green ones. Slowly, he got up and gripped the knife tighter in his hand. The man turned as the sound of police sirens filled the alleyway. He turned and ran, leaving me shocked.
I felt a sickening feeling in the pit of my stomach. Before I knew it, I was doubled over and throwing up. I had finished when about 7 police men ran into the clearing. One came to my aid.
"Miss, what did you see?" He asked me.
"A-a man. H-he k-killed them." I stuttered, surprised I had found my voice.
"Killed who?" The officer asked.
"I-I don't kn-know." I said. "H-he had a kn-knife an-and a b-body." I pointed to the bloody body, which was still lying on the ground. The other police officers were around it and doing police officer-y stuff.
"Did the man see you?"
"Y-yes."
"Oh man." The guy whispered. Ge took his wallow talkie and spoke into it. "This is Officer Kirk. We have a Red26 (A/N I am making this up. I have no clue if this means anything). Over." Officer Kirk looked at his co-officers. "We've got a Red26, guys." Two more of them jogged over.
"What's your name, sweetie?" One of them asked me. He was an older man with white hair and soft blue eyes.
"A-ashley H-holmes." I said.
"Well, Ashley Holmes, it looks like you might have to go into the Witness Protection Program."
