Wolf's Sick Day

A/N: Hey guys! Sorry for taking a while to update. I know I haven't been doing a great job on this book, but I hope some of you are still able to enjoy it. Im not sure when I'll update again but I'd say 2-3 weeks. This book is almost done and would like to thank you all for 10k reads!

After meeting parents, the news got ahold of Wolf and Dianes marriage and spread quickly. Another week had passed with Diane's parents apologizing to Wolf and going out again once more to break the ice. After, however, Wolf got sick and decided he would do the guest list for their wedding before he recovered.

It was 8:00 A.M on a Saturday morning. Wolf was at the table; making the guest list.

"Morning bud, shouldn't you be sleeping?" Snake asked, concerned for his buddy.

Wolf, who looked half dead, glanced at Snake and said, "Morning snakey."

Snake then noticed the 3 cups of coffee, before looking at Wolf once more. "Alright, That's it. Back to bed."

"But I'm not tired. Besides, *yawn* I got to finish the guest list." Wolf told him as he showed him a piece of paper.

"Who is the last one?" Snake asked before shaking his head. "Doesn't matter, come on." Snake said as he helped him up to his room.

Just as the two were going to Wolfs room, the elevator bell dinged, confusing the two. When the doors opened, it showed an older gray female Wolf.

"Who are you?" Snake asked as the woman looked at them.

"I'm Moe's mother." She casually stated as Wolf shot up and Snakes jaw dropped to the floor.

"Mom? Is it *cough* *cough* really you?" Wolf asked; to surprised and sick to think anything else.

"Yes honey. I've finally found you." She said as she opened her arms for Wolf to hug her.

Wolf then fell into her arms and held on tight. After about a minute of the two hugging, Wolf separated as his mother caressed his cheek; wiping a tear away.

Snake, however, was suspicious. Why would his mother appear after all these years? And how did they know for sure it was his mother?

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold on now. How do we know this is your mother Wolf?" Snake asked?

"Well," The female Wolf started, "How would I know his name, and look at us."

Snake then looked at the two and noticed they had the same grey fur with some white in their ears. The female Wolf also had brown eyes and was shorter than Wolf, around 5' 7.

"You could be a criminal that happens to be a Wolf and has been stalking us." Snake accused, as Wolf glared at him.

"Snake, stop it! Even if she was stalking us, you guys never even call me Moe. I mean, we practically look the same." Wolf said, defending his mother.

"Ok, fine. She may be your mother, but still, why show up after all this time?" Snake asked.

"Snake. Not now." Wolf growled before his mother stepped forward.

"No, no. It's okay Wolf, I understand why he would think that."

She then sighed, before she begun explaining. "When Wolf was born, me and your father were in the middle of a divorce and both wanted custody of you. Because both of us couldn't decide, the judge decided it would be best if you lived with your grandma, or my mom. Unfortunately, she ended up dying a few years later and they put you in the adoption center. I would have got you, but I was mourning and when I finally went to go get you, you were gone. I've spent the last year trying to find you in the hopes I could at least see you again. I'm sorry I haven't been here for you Moe." She finished as Wolf looked at her with a sad expression while Snake decided to stop interrogating her.
