SCP-035 and SCP-049 were on a walk in the forest. The clouds were gray as they were about to rain. 035 looked up at the sky and noticed it was about to rain.
"Hey, Doc, it's about to rain at any time. We should find shelter." 035 said.
049 looked up at the sky and noticed.
"Right. Better keep going." 049 started speedwalking, and 035 followed. As they ran, it was starting to rain. 035 and 049 were getting wet by the rain.
10 minutes later, they found a shelter to stay in, and they went in immediately without hesitation.
"I'm soaked wet." 035 said.
049 ignored 035's words and started walking over to the couch and sitting down as he was wet as well.
035 walked to the couch where 049 was at and sat down beside him. "I wonder how the other SCPs are doing. Unless if they escape and we are away from them like somewhat far away."
049 was silent until he heard something. He can sense someone here. "I'll be right back." 049 said, and he got up and left to investigate the noise.
049 opened the door, which led to a basement. He decided to walk in the basement. It was dark. There was less light as the lightbulb seemed to be running out of electricity.
049 looked around carefully. He started to sense the pestilence nearby and heads to where he sensed the pestilence.
As he was heading to where he sensed a pestilence. Someone came from behind and tried to hit 049 with a bat. But 049 turned around quickly and caught the bat.
He snatched the bat to himself. "Do not be afraid, I am the cure." 049 goes to the person, and death touched him. He puts the bat down and starts curing the person, which becomes his patient.
Meanwhile, with 035, he started to lay on the couch. He felt tired as he hadn't slept for months. 035 decided to sleep as he needed rest after the rain stopped.
25 minutes later, 049 came back to where 035 is at. He noticed that he was sleeping. He sat on the other couch , grabbed a book out of his bag, and reading until the rain is over.
