The hosts all stood outside the curtains as they waited for the Fujioka siblings to finish changing. As they waited, Honey sat with his stuffed bunny, eating cake on the side. After a while, the hairdresser exited with a satisfied smile on her face. She gave the guys a slight bow before she left. A moment later, they finally heard Haruhi call from behind the curtain.
"Um... Hey, Tamaki?"
The man in question looked up as he tapped his foot impatiently. "Aren't you two done changing yet?"
With the sudden push on the curtain, Haruhi and Michiru emerged from the changing room- dressed up and made over in their new uniforms. Their blue blazers sat perfectly over their white pressed button-up dress shirts. Haruhi was messing with her black tie while Michiru redid the thin red bow around her neck before patting down her skirt gently. While Haruhi wore men's dress shoes, Michiru had a pair of black kitten heels. Michi preferred this modified men's uniform in comparison to the yellow monstrosities the women's uniform was-. Still, she wondered where they had gotten it on such short notice and in their sizes. As Michi partially tied her back with a dark blue ribbon, the boys looked at the two in awe. They seemed surprised to see how well they cleaned up when given the time and energy.
The Fujioka siblings were actually a very attractive pair.
"Are you guys sure it's really okay for us to keep these uniforms," Haruhi asked as she struggled to straighten out her tie. Michi saw this and gently swatted her sister's hands away before helping her tighten it up. "Thanks, Michi."
Michiru smiled softly, nodding at her sister with a blush.
"So cute! Haruhi, you're as pretty as a girl! Adorable! And Michiru looks like a distinguished young lady," Tamaki gushed, swaying side to side as hearts practically filled his eyes.
Honey was hopping up and down as he hugged his stuffed bunny to his chest, a big smile on his chest. "Wow! Haru-chan! Mi-chan! You both look so cute!"
Michi looked to the side nervously as she messed with her new uniform and pulled on a strand of her hair. Haruhi just sighed as the Host Club gushed over their appearances. Michiru didn't understand why she needed the uniform other than for aesthetic reasons. Perhaps that was it. They couldn't stand to see the two of them dressed like 'commoners' they were. Maybe it was damaging to their image. She turned her gaze to the side, looking out the window as the others were talking about how good the two of them looked- specifically Haruhi. She didn't care to listen fully to their conversation as she tried to figure out how to make more money for their monstrous debt.
Perhaps she could get a part-time job?
But I think I need to get permission for that... Plus I need to make sure I don't fall behind in my classes or else I could be expelled and lose my scholarship.
"You know, that was just what I was thinking," Tamaki's voice brought Michi back to their conversation as she looked back over at the upperclassman. "Our errand boy is moving up the ranks! Starting today, you are an official member of the Host Club. I will personally train you to be a first-rate host! If you can get 100 customers to request your service, we will completely forget about your ¥8,000,000 debt!"
Haruhi's face paled at the thought. "A host," she stuttered, shaking her head. "I don't know about that-"
"Don't worry, Haru-chan! Tama-chan will teach you everything! It's not that hard," Honey said sweetly as he bounced to the girls' sides. Michi hummed as she looked at the petite blonde, making him look up at her with wide eyes. "Oh! Tama-chan! What about Mi-chan?"
Michiru's eyes widened at his words, shaking her head. "No-no, that's alright-"
"Oh yeah... You are his sister. After all, you should share part of the burden," Tamaki mused, thinking hard about what they could have the younger Fujioka sibling do. "Well, you can't be a Host..."
