It had been about a week since y/n did it..it felt nice for a little bit but it slowly turned into a feeling guilt, why would they do something like this? What happens if someone sees the marks?..what if they see the marks?..
Y/n snapped out of their thoughts when they heard someone coming up the stairs. They quickly hid their marks under a blanket. "Hi sweetheart." Mary said with a happy smile. "H-hi love." Y/n responded stuttering a little, that got Mary's attention. "Is everything alright, honey?" Mary asked softly with a look of concern stopping what she was doing. "O-of course why wouldn't it b-be?" Y/n tried to hide their feelings but it didn't work, one single tear rolled down y/n's cheek. They tried to wipe it away before Mary noticed but it was to late..
"Y-y/n?" Mary asked as she walked over to y/n sitting next to them. "Love you don't have to lie to me.." mary said gently grabbing their face so they were looking at her. They couldn't hold in thier emotions any longer, y/n fell into Mary's arms and started uncontrollably sobbing. "Shhh..it's ok honey.." mary said holding her partner. 'Why did they feel like this?..what happened?' Mary thought as she rocked y/n back and forth softly.
After awhile of crying y/n needed to tell her but they were scared. "L-love?.." y/n asked quietly looking up at Mary. "Yes, baby?.." mary asked softly. "U-um...I-I did s-something.." y/n said now looking down not wanting to make eye contact. "What?..what did you do?.." mary asked hoping it wasn't what she was thinking... y/n slowly moved the blanket to reveal their marks, mary just looked at them. "I-i'm s-sorry.." y/n said as their tears returned. "N-no don't be sorry..I'm just...sad you did that...." mary said softly as she gently touched the marks. "I-I don't know why I did it.." y/n said putting their hand on Mary's.
"Your going through a hard time huh?.." mary asked looking y/n. "..mhm..." y/n hummed quietly...
...I needed comfort, so I wrote this..I'm not even gonna lie I'm not ok but hopefully it'll get better soon.
