"He sounds like such a jerk." Lily said with disgust.

We were in the cafeteria line waiting for our food. Unlike most of the cafeterias in other schools, our school's cafeteria is actually nice. I told Lily and Hailey all about the dude who was rude to me yesterday. I can't believe I thought he was cute.

"Do you think he comes to this school?" Hailey asked.

"How on Earth am I supposed to know. I want nothing to do with him." I said angrily.

My blood just boils at the thought of him.

As my best friends and I were walking to our usual table, someone ran into me really hard. All my food was lying on the floor and so was I. When I looked up to see the person who ran into me, my blood started boiling.

"Watch where you're going, rat."

The boy who was rude to me yesterday was standing right in front of me, smirking. Hailey and Lily helped me up and asked if I was okay. All I was thinking about is how I would love to slap that boy. Across the face. With a chair. His friends and him all laughed and ran away. Of course he was friends with the popular boys.

"I can't believe that just happened." I said for the millionth time.

" Maybe they didn't see you." Lily tried reassuring me.

"Yeah right."

Art. My favourite subject. I love art but I'm absolute trash at drawing or painting. I just love art because I can express the real me without being judged. I can paint or draw a bunch of nonsense but still feel proud of my artwork. My teacher is the most chill teacher you'll ever meet. Never in my life have I heard her shout before, and when I say never I mean never. The best part though is that I can listen to music.

"Class, may I have your attention?" My art teacher asked.

" We have a new student joining us today," the teacher said, "You can come on in."

When the new student came in, I literally snapped my paint brush.

"Hi, I'm Joshua Evans, but you can just call me Josh." Josh said.

"Wonderful Josh. You can go sit next to... Sophie. Sophie raise your hand please." I raised my hand, my face turning red and hot with anger.

That's it. I officially hate Art now.
