GUS POV: Luz told me of what we will be doing fand what we might sacrifice but I had never thought I would have to tell mattholomule..
He had probably thought we would just stay together and everyone stays at hexide! "UGH DAMN IT"I yell out while me and willow were walking." Are you okay Gus?" She asks me concerned, I nod but don't speak.Or else I might blab out everything.
I see Matt and he calls out to me, but I just keep walking. I can't tell him, I can't. Maybe illusions will distract me.

Nope. All I could think about was possible outcomes if I did tell him and other outcomes if I didn't. He'd just try to find me and look everywhere maybe with my dad,and then they'd find my dead body covered in blood and-"AUGUSTUS PORTER" The teacher screams. "Ma'am?"I carefully say. "Make an illusion of a forest sitting in the sunset" I sigh to what she says and make it with flying colors. I mean I've done it fifty times.The bell roared in the school and took me out of another trance. Great lunch.  I grab my textbooks(idk) and bring them to my locker where Matt shows up. "Hey squirt" he says to me. Nothing. "Dude are you ignoring me??" Mattholomule asks. I put my books in the locker and go to eat lunch. I peaked and saw Matt stand still but then slowly follow me to the cafeteria. I sit down with Luz,willow,and amity. Me and amity don't talk much but I know she tries. "Have you told Mattholomule Gus?" Luz asks. I need to speak. "No." I silently whisper. "You have to tell him." Amity says, she on the other hand was close to matt so of course she cared. "Listen I just don't know how."before I could say even a letter. Luz shares with the class or yknow the whole cafeteria "I KNOW!!" Luz screams"sorry, there is this picnic table me and amity found in the forest and you could take him there and tell him!" Luz quickly said.

"Okay" I said that and then it felt like I teleported to a new time zone. The rest of the day went fast so I had to tell him fast "Matt, I'm sorry for ignoring you but can you come with me" I said, he looked so confused but tried to keep his cool. Oh how I lo- WANT to tell him I'm leaving. He shrugs and cautiously follows and when we reach the picnic table I hear a twig snap and know who it is or, who they are I turn to see willow amity and oh yes Luz. Ughhh. "So what are we doing here" he questioned. "Matt" I say grabbing his hands.
Mattholomule pov: his touch made me red. "I might have to fight belos. And you can't come. I might never come back." He finishes. His touch grew cold and I started tearing up. Everything was dizzy. What was happening. I felt... pale. But "Gus.." he looked so scared. The blood left him. He couldn't move he was frozen. I get up to go to him and fall down. "Ahg-" I Yelp. I hear foot steps."are you okay Mattholomule?" Gus's girl group asks me "what are you doing here?" I queried. As they start to explain I cut them off."get Gus." I worry. "What no your hurt." Amity said. "And you will be to if you don't get him." I tell them." Willow Luz go get Gus I'll get his admirer over there." She helps. As they leave amity picks me up so she's supporting my leg(which he hurt) when I see him he looks dead but he had his eyes on me."gus I'll be here for you all the way, and you will come back, your gus! No matter can withstand the illusionist" he managed to make a smile and throw his dead look away.
