Clingy duo angst

HIGHSCHOOL AU:

The teams were split on one side of the court was purpled, Tommy, jack, and dream. While on the other half was ranboo, tubbo, techno, and Wilbur.

The other team got the ball first and to no surprise Tommy got first serve. As soon as the ball was in his hands a wide devilish smirk grew on his face. He turned and got ready to serve. The whistle went off but instead of passing it to the next teammate Tommy raised the ball above his head and threw it as hard as possible. At who? Ranboo, the so-called 'freak'. Ranboo was hit square in the face by the ball knocking him out. As blood trailed out of his nose. The whistle blew again "stop the match!". The teacher rushed over to the blacked out teenager while Tommy still had that horrible grin. Tubbo looked at the unmoving body of his friend. He was enraged. A few teachers lifted ranboo and brought him to an infirmary.

Tubbo stomped over to Tommy whose grin disappeared as soon as he saw him. "WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT TOMMY? I KNOW DAMN WELL THAT WASN'T AN ACCIDENT!" he screamed. Tommy looked at him and shrugged "so what that freak deserved it". Tubbo couldn't hold his rage he stepped closer to Tommy and gave the insolent teenager a fist right in the face. A moment later he was being pushed away from Tommy who was now holding his nose in pain on the floor.

Tubbo scoffed.

"He has deserved nothing you've done to him. Nothing. You've bullied him for years! For no reason! I've only learned about this like a month ago! Give me one good damn reason for him to and the others you mistreated to have deserved what you've done to them!?" Tommy looked at the ground "...". "Exactly. Yesterday you said you wanted things to be like old times? I said it can't be and this is EXACTLY why. You've changed Tommy, and not for the better. You've turned into one big dickhead. Why? All because you want to be 'CoOl'?".  The blond stayed with his eyes glued to the floor. "You have issues Tommy and guess what. You can no longer count on me to be there when shit hits the fan. I would say im no longer your friend but at this point it feels like I'm more of a damn servant, so this is my FUCKING resignation, asshole. congratulations! You just lost the one person who would have stuck by you for life. But now? Now, I regret ever meeting you in the first place... Goodbye Tommy" Tubbo then turned and walked towards the infirmary.

Tommy stood there processing it all. Tears began to form in his eyes. He had just lost his best friend he had known since kindergarten. He fucked up, badly.

This one came to me after reading a chapter from a book. This didn't happen in the book, and Tommy and tubbo ended up becoming friends a couple chapters after, but my brain likes to think of what could have happened. This one is probably one of my favorites and I have no clue why -v-
