Chapter one a new day

When jack got out of the time portal he seen hover cars, aliens, blasters and roads what go into space. he was so amazed of what he seen but he was no longer in a time machine it was broke into parts but slowly rebuilding it's self, one part an hour it would be rebuilt but it would take a while where there was hundreds of pieces. When jack turned around he seen a man standing there with a farmers tan, long brown hair, ripped dirty clothes with a old shinny blue vest on. The man said "what are you doing out here in the dark you could be hurt by muggers at this time of night". then jack said "what year is it exactly" and the man said "the year 3000 and what is your name kid" "Jack my name is Jack and yours " said Jack "my name is Josh" replied the man Jack said "well nice to meet you Josh I might be seeing you around well bye" as Jack walked toward the city josh was waving goodbye. Jack found a place to sleep for the night.It was under a skyscraper in a small box just the right size. Jack was thinking to him self "what if I never get to go back home and the time machine does not fix it self for a long time then what I would be stuck here forever.

It was the break of dawn and Jack was on the go he seen a candy bar what looked like a brand new building with red and blue strips and a new sign saying "need help" when he went inside there was a tall lady who said to Jack "what do you want to have in our wonderful choices of candy" with a big smile on her face but Jack said "I'm just here for the job".
The lady said to Jack "well this is going to be an easy job for you what's your name mine is Hayley" "my name is Jack " Jack said .Hayley said "nice to meet you Jack oh and here is your uniform. you will be payed 15.99 every week and always smile when helping. "thanks boss" Jack said.
It was a hard day at work for Jack he helped 30 people all morning. Then the bell rang for his 15 minute lunch brake to start. it was the end of the day and he led down in the cardboard box and fell asleep.
