☆ I need the ring ☆

19 - new costume

You get ready for school, hearing the door open and knowing it's Saiki. After losing the last ring, you feel more free but at the same time, tired. You could do a lot more but again be more careful.

You decided to put your hair up, but your strength broke the first three hairbands. The fourth time you finally did and celebrated with jumping up and down. You stopped quickly, since you almost jumped through the roof.

Oh god I need to be careful

You go to the kitchen and see Saiki waiting.

"Morning!" You smile at him as he nods.

You take a coffee jelly out of your refrigerator and slide it to the bubblegum boy. He seems delighted at the sight and you can't help but stare. You both eat and you stare at him, he looks up and sees you. Both of you are now staring at each other.

You both finish and walk to school. You just wished that the school ended already. You missed the feeling of cold metal around your fingers and the safe feeling of knowing that you won't hurt anyone accidentally.

Even if you were worried, you felt calm around Saiki. It was odd for sure, that the guy you didn't seem to like at all at first could bring so much joy and calmness, without even words coming from his mouth.

You arrived at school, for another boring day. You felt a bit more nervous around Saiki than usual, maybe because you finally accepted the feelings you felt. Even if you were a bit nervous, you still managed to feel calm. It was weird and hard to describe.

You were zoning out in class until something catches your attention. We were going to have a ball?

It was going to be for a school event where every class had to make something. For some reason everyone chose the ball, probably due to Teruhashi.

Everyone was hyped and you were too tired to act interested. You knew you would probably end up being a servant.

Saiko was even ready to fund it, if he could be the ball king and choose the queen, Teruhashi.

Everyone agreed, Teruhashi having basically no word in it. You wanted to protest but heard her say:

This is my chance to make Saiki say Oh Wow!!

I almost forgot that she is obsessed with Saiki....

Everyone got assigned roles. You ended up a servant like you thought, so did the bubblegum boy.

You were a bit excited to get some new experience before the vacation. You always wanted to go to a ball, even if you will be serving people.

Rest of the day everyone was planning how to do it and where (they decided it would be in the gym).

At the end of the day, the servers already got the costumes and had to be at school on the weekend to learn how to serve people.

-weekend

You yawn as the doorbell rings and you hear your dad speak with the boy who you knew is Saiki. You hear your door open as you slowly sit up with your hair being all over the place. You can see Saiki's surprised expression.

"Don't be surprised, I just woke up" you threw a pillow to Saiki, a bit too strongly because when he caught it he looked more surprised. You ignored it with an awkward look.

You get up as you look at the pajamas you are wearing. It was pink with stars and knockoff princesses on it.

You push Saiki out of your room "Gimme a minute, m'kay? Thanks bubblegum- I MEAN SAIKI."

You close the door quickly and realize you just took the doorknob off.

You put on the maid costume, not liking it at all, but just accepting it. You come out of your room, looking presentable now.
