I knew my epi-pen had expired a week ago.
Dad had got new ones for home and ballet schools.
He forgot to get it refilled for school.
Dad said he was handling it.
People categorized me as a nerd even though I am a cheerleader.
I am also a tutor.
I tutor people in the tutor center.
Dad doesn't have an issue with me tutoring kids at home.
James
"So, you want to know what it's like in my High school?"
I lit my cigarette.
I was smoking it.
"Well, the truth is: There's not a single person in this place worth remembering. You see, people here are fake. So, they stick to their cliques to hide it. The stoners are medicated. The honor students are afraid. And the jocks... Well, they're jocks, man. They'll peak at 17 and their cheerleader girlfriends will be fat and lonely by 21."
I glanced over at the cheerleader table.
Raquel, Bridgett, Paige, and Peyton were sitting there.
"Losers! Everyone here is a loser. And the truth is: Everyday I have to come to this school... Is one less day I have to come back."
"Here we go."
I headed into the school.
I passed by a bunch of students at their lockers.
Three boys were destroying my locker.
Flashback
"Hey! I heard what you said on the time capsule."
"Look, Ross..."
I was grabbed from behind.
I groaned as Ross punched me in the gut.
He punched me across the face.
End of flashback
"Nice locker, loser." Ross commented, bumping into my shoulder as he passed me.
I pulled the gun out of my hoodie pocket.

Bridgett and me stared as James had a gun in his hand.
We ducked.

Ross and his friends ducked.
I shot a bullet.
It pierced the glass, breaking it.
Peyton
I thought it was glass that landed in my leg.
James
I stared at what I had done.
The students were screaming.
They headed out the other door.
I put the gun away.
Bridgett
I joined the crowd.
I couldn't find Peyton.
Taylor
"Call 911." I ordered my secretary.
"Code red. Code red. This is not a drill. All students to a designated lockdown area. This is a code red."
