Mercury sat at a table during lunch, it was super bored and had no one to talk to given that all its friends were either busy or made it uncomfortable around them. Xe heard xyr phone buzz and picked it up, smiling. Its best friend, Toby had just messaged it on snapchat. Toby was moving and didn't have a lot of time to be online recently so every message that he sent made Mercury extra happy 'Hiiii beetoeee' the message read. 'Heyyyyyyyy' Mercury sent back. 'How are youu' Toby asked. 'Gooddddd hbuuu' Mercury sent as it smiled. 'Im gooddd' Toby replied 'I start at my new school tmrw thoughh' xe added. 'Ew, school fucking sucks' Mercury said as it internally gagged. 'Ver ver' Toby replied.

A few hours later Mercury had gotten out of school and was currently shopping around target by itself, it was on call with Toby of course. "Well, hopefully the people at your school are nice, we wouldn't want you committing crimes" Mercury 'joked' as it looked through the aisle with cat things. Toby shook his head with a smile, "No, not at all" he replied. Mercury speed walked through as it talked with Toby, coming to a immediate stop, "Holy fuck look at this shiiit" xe said as xe turned into a aisle and grabbed a Freddy Fazbear plushie. "Oooooo" Toby hummed as he looked up from the paper he was drawing on. "Should I get it?" Mercury asked, more rhetorically, he knew the answer could be, should be, and would be yes. "Yus yuses" Toby said as they nodded. "Aight, cool, cool cool cool" Mercury nodded as it threw the plushie in the cart and nodded again, more so out of instinct. Mercury continued to speed walk through the store, occasionally getting  something and putting it in the cart. "I should probably leave soon- I don't wanna have to walk home too late" Mercury said as it put a twelve pack of dr.pepper in the cart. "True true" Toby hummed as he nodded wisely "Its ver not safe to walk home alone super late so yus-" he said, fidgeting with their pencil a bit. "Yus yus- HOWEVER- if Im loud enough and seem crazy enough people wont wanna approach me- hopefully-" Mercury said as it walked as fast as it could to the self checkout.

Mercury started scanning its thing as Toby turned on something. Just by the intro alone Mercury knew what it was, "SUN AND MOON SHOWW!" xe exclaimed happily as it put stuff into bags. Toby laughed, "Yus yusss" he said with a smile. "Thats great, I'll probably watch that later, or yet another motherfucking security breach goddamn playthrough-" Mercury sighed, it had watched 5 security breach playthroughs but would it stop? Pff- Is Wilbur a zeus kinnie?- Toby laughed again and Mercury smiled widely, "Lets pay for this shiiiiiiiitt and get out- out of here-" Mercury said while laughing a bit. Mercury paid and they left the store, sitting on the ground outside and putting the stuff that was in bags in its backpack and closing it up, "I forgot Im walking home- and got a twelve pack like a dumbass-" it sighed at itself. "Pffs- damns-" Toby laughed out, "That sucks" they added. "Indeed it does." Mercury nodded and lifted the twelve pack up, shakyly getting "I should speedrun the walk home while carrying this heavy thing while being overheated and while overbinding." it said its very stupid plan out loud, as if it wasnt already starting to speed walk. "No- you absolutely shouldnt-" Toby said, looking at his friend with the 'Do  n o t  do that' look they had for whenever Mercury had a more than averagely stupid idea. "Immmmmmmmm gonna regreeeeeeeeettttt thissssssss" Mercury hummed, already feeling its legs hurt from the speed walking "This is how William walked away after leaving the backroom where he killed the children-" it said, laughing a bit. "I- pff- yes-" Toby agreed, laughing.

A while later Mercury got home, opening its front door and setting its twelve pack down and collapsing in front of the door, "R e g r e t." was all it said and it panted and tried to catch its breath. Toby sighed, "Yea- thats expected" he said, pausing the video he was watching. "yep yep yep-" Mercury nodded, sighing as it slowly got up, picking the twelve pack back up and carrying it to the kitchen, "Once I do this am gonna watch some youtube, do the dishes, and then lay down until probably 2am knowing I have to get up at 6-" it said, verbally expressing its plan. "Skayes skayes but maybe get more sleep than that-" Toby hummed as he picked up his phone and made their way to their own kitchen. "Nope, I run better on less sleep" Mercury hummed, putting the twelve pack in the fridge as it hummed to the music in its head. "I somehow doubt thats true" Toby said with suspicion as they grabbed a coke from their fridge. "Well its true, I dunno what to tell you" Mercury shrugged, yawning. "Mhmmmmmm" Toby hummed as he made their way back to their room.

Mercury finished putting everything up and looked at the sink, "Oh yea- I did the dishes earlier before I left-" it said, looking at the empty sink. "Pff- skayes skayes" Toby nodded, taking a sip of his coke. "Yus yuses" Mercury replied, getting a dr.pepper and heading upstairs with its backpack. Once xe got upstairs Mercury took its new freddy plushie out of its bag, "I love him- he is my child now- meet your nephew." it said as it held the plushie up to the camera. "Thats skayeness" Toby nodded wisely. "Yus yus" Mercury replied, laying on its side as it stared at the wall.

A few hours later Toby sighed as he saw how late it is, "Oh damns- I gotta go to bed- night nightss sleep wellll love youu talk to you tomorroww" he hummed. Mercury frowned a bit but nodded, "Mkaysesss night nightss love you toooo sleep wellll talk to you tomorroww" xe replied, smiling a little. The call ended and Mercury plugged its phone in, checking the time, only 11, not bad, it'd stay up for a hour or so more. Mercury stayed up watching youtube till about 2am before falling asleep.

The next morning Mercury got up to the sound of its alarm buzzing with a groan. Great, school. They got off the bed after a few minutes of laying there and stretching. It stretched again and went over to its sleeping cat and pet her, cooing softly at the sleepy and purring cat. He got ready and headed downstairs, pulling his phone out. Xe was getting a energy drink from the fridge when he saw his uncle, the only other human he lived with "Mornin" he said as he opened his drink, taking a sip of the much needed caffiene. "Hi" his uncle replied, waving a bit. "Sleep well?" Mercury asked as it took one of its vitamin gummies. "Ok I guess" his uncle shrugged as he opened the fridge and got out a mountain dew. "I gotta go in a few but I love you, have a good day at work" Mercury said as it pet the cat that was nuzzling against its leg. "I'll try" xe's uncle said before going to his work room. Mercury got its headphones out of its bag and plugged them into his phone, opening one of his playlists, he opened up snapchat as he headed out the front door, 'Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii' he sent to his beetoe, waiting for a reply as he walked to school. 'Heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy' Toby replied a few minutes later. Mercury smiled when it got the notification, instantly messaging back, 'Hruuuuuuuuuuuuuu' it sent, singing to the music that was playing through his headphones.

'Okkkkkkkkkk hbuuuuuuuuu' Toby sent back, also heading to school. 'Pretty decentttttttttt' Mercury replied, sighing when he saw his school. The biggest bitch in his grade stood infront of the door like always. 'Thats gooddd' Toby sent, gazing out of the window. Mercury made its way to the front door, 'Yus yusess' it sent as it walked up to the door, "Excuse me." he said plainly. The girl looked at him and rolled her eyes aggressively, "You're excused" she said, acting like she's funny. Mercury just sighed, "Can you move so I can enter the building?" he asked, more annoyed than before. One of the reasons it didn't just deck this bitch in the mouth, now, or ever, was because xe's good friends with her actually cool boyfriend. The girl scoffed and moved away from the door, rolling her eyes. Mercury walked into the school, sighing as he went to his locker, opening it and putting his bag in, starting to chug his energy drink.

Toby had got to his new school, examining it a bit, he let out a hum and grabbed his bag, he said goodbye to his mom and hopped out the car, shutting the door and sighing to himself, hopefully it wasnt a shitty school with shitty people. He looked at the front door and made his way up to it, seeing a annoying looking girl standing in front of it. He went up to her and sighed, "Excuse me" he hummed. The girl gave him a smile and moved out of the way "Are you new here?" she asked. Toby nodded, "Yea, just moved near here" he replied. "Cool! Im Tracy" she said, keeping her smile. "Cool, Im Toby, but I also go by Apollo" Toby said while nodding wisely. "Okkk, what are your pronounss?" Tracy asked as she leaned against the wall next to the door. "Xe/He/It/They" Toby replied as he looked through the doors. Tracy nodded, "Okkkk" she said, despite knowing she'll only ever use he/him and rarely they/them because thats just who she is.

After that encounter Toby entered the school, looking around. Xe had xyr locker number written on a piece of paper so that he could go and find it. As he looked around for its locker. He found the locker a few minutes later and put his backpack in xyr locker. Xe decided to look around the place for a bit before his first class started, he was about to text Mercury about his encounter with the wild tracy xe encountered when xe heard a familiar voice talking to someone. He looked in the direction of the voice and froze in shock, was it really xem or was it just imagining things..?
