It was cold, so very cold, the human rose slowly and looked around. A bed of flowers had broken their fall (if you could even say that). Pants held their back in pain and stood up. She glanced over head to see they light of the surface she would leave behind, then the dark hallway entered her vision.
Pants slowly stepped towards the pillared door, the light slowly fading from behind her. She entered a room with a small patch of wilted grass. A flower with one eye popped out of the ground. Pants went to greet the flower happily before it stopped her. "Shhh, don't make a sound, Or SHE will hear you."
Pants was extremely confused, she? She nodded and slowly knelt down to meet the flowers level. "Hi, I'm Flowey, your a human right? You seem very enthusiastic to be here. Even if it's mistakenly so." Pants nodded and began to whisper.
"Why mistakenly?" Flowey shook his head and closed his eye. " You humans, so foolish, always believing your story tales. Down here, it's eat or be eaten."
Pants fell back. "W-what? I thought-" Flowey interrupted once more. "Maybe it was before, but now it's different. You don't wanna be here I promise. So what do ya say? We can find a way to get out of here together?"
Flowey offered his petal to Pants. She reached out to him but he burst into violent flames. Flowey let out a dreadful screech and disappeared.
Pants reached out for him but the ground was left burnt where he once was, she looked up to see an extremely large humanoid goat. "What a horrible creature, terrorizing a helpless child, come here." The Goat monster picked Pants up in a hug and gave her a pat on the head.
Pants was so confused. The flower had told her about this horrible place, but the first monster she met was kind. Pants gave the goat a large smile and held her hand out.
"No no no, I'm perfectly fine ma'am, my name is Pants, it's really nice to meet you!"
The goat chuckled softly and shook the small humans hand.
"My name is Toriel, I am the caretaker of the ruins, I come here everyday to see if another human child has fallen. Come, let me take you home to see if you are injured."
Pants nodded and held Toriel's hand as they left the cold room. Pants took one last glance to where Flowey once lived.
She felt awful for him but he must have been wrong about the underground, maybe he really was trying to trick her.
