2 | Catch up

I rush over to Sophia who is still sleeping. I kneel down and move her. I tap her face with a little bit of force.

"Sophia wake up please" I say with a stubborn face

"Sophiaaaa"

"SOPHIA WAKE YOUR ASS UP!" I scream in her ear

She slowly moves around and makes the most dumb face ever.

"Bro what do you want?" She questions still clearly half asleep.

"I'm meeting Kylian in 2 hours"

"WHAT?" She jolts up and has the expression of "wtf"

"Yeah so help me right now"

"Girl change your hair and shit" she gets up and makes her way to her bedroom

"You are wearing MY clothes right now"

"Sophia please make me look stunning i really need it"

"Duhhhh that's why I'm in your life right now"

I look at myself in the mirror and smile, I wonder if Kylian will actually show up. I get my phone out and look at the time, only 20 minutes before I'll go. I go up to Sophia and give her my phone.

"I need to post on Insta again, take pictures of me outside the house please."

"Ok so Kylian can like and fall in love with you"

"NO"

"DONT post before, he might see it"

"Ugh ok fine"

After I take pictures, I hug Sophia for helping me out. I wave goodbye to her, making my way to my car and getting ready to see my old friend. I was a Little nervous since I haven't seen him in so long.

I arrive at the place he told me to go to, I get out of my car and in the distance, I see a grown-up Kylian sitting down, all alone. I get nervous and realize that im starting to twitch. I twitch when I'm nervous, it's just what I do.

As I'm walking towards to him, he slowly turns to my direction. He looks me up and down and smiles. I finally see a close up view of him and smile. He quickly stands up and makes his way towards me. He comes in for a hug and he smells so good. Im not a creep, but I can't help to smell a man's aroma.

"It's been so long Natalia, comment allez-vous? (how are you)" he says as he sits down and puts his hands on the table.

"I'm doing just fine, tell me what's new?" I say as I look at the menu.

"Well, it's been the same these past 4 years. I heard that you got fired today, I'm so sorry Natalia"

I look up at him and nervously laugh, "Its really nothing, I bet Achraf told you"

"Yes he did, what a coincidence that you met my bestfriend." He laughs as he continues to look at me.

He makes me so nervous, not only did he look better in person, but something inside of me felt like I was home.

"I have to meet up with him later on to talk about what happened he invited me out for lunch"

"He told me to tell you to not worry about it, he wants me to catch up with you"

I give our a big grin and as I was about to say something, the waitress interrupts me.

"Are we ready here?" She looks at Kylian and her eyes open up real big.

"Yes we are ready, I'll just have the Sandwich jambon San Daniele." He says with a smile

"Um... I'll have a Club sandwich au saumon fumé d'Ecosse"

The waitress looks at me and gives me a fake smile, what was that all about? She leaves in a hurry.

"Natalia, it was a pleasure to see you again"

I give him a nervous smile and put a piece of hair behind my ear.

"Me too, that was random."

"I'm sorry, I literally don't have a filter" he laughs

"I can tell" I jokingly say.
