No one ever mentions how good the darkness can be, always shamed and made out to be such a bad thing.

I've learnt over a very short amount of time that before you can judge something, you must get a taste of it, experience a once in a life time moment. Live as if it was your last day.

He.

He did that for me. He opened my eyes and showed me just how light the darkness can be..

*Lila's P.O.V.*

I closed the laptop screen after being on it for quite a while. I decided that maybe a snack would be suitable at the moment. Or you know, always.

I made my way downstairs trying to be as quiet as possible. My parents have been asleep for a few hours and waking them up is not something that i want to deal with at 2 a.m. As I approached the kitchen i could've sworn I seen something out of the corner of my eye, I guess thats what happens when you're a sleep deprived teenager. I opened the fridge, the light blinding me in the process and grabbed some left over pizza from earlier.

"Frick yea, pizzzaaa" I said in a whispering voice. I love pizza more than anything in existence. I placed my pizza on a plate and stuck it in the microwave for 40 seconds.

After my pizza was warm enough, I opened the screen door and found a spot on the deck.

Everything is so much more peaceful in the dark. The constant tension you feel in the air in the morning and afternoon is no longer felt. You can relax and let yourself breathe.

Not to mention everything around you looks prettier in the dark. With that being said I decided to take a picture of my surroundings, trying to make it look as artistic as possible.

I finally decided on one picture and posted it to Instagram setting the caption as "2 a.m shenanigans" After i devoured my pizza i made my way back into the kitchen, placed my plate in the sink and walked back to my room.

I decided that it was a little late and that I should probably head to bed due to the long day I had tomorrow.

I crawled into bed and scrolled on my phone for a little while.

2:46 a.m: New instagram comment from Ashhey_2255 (don't sue if that's your acc name, i'm sorry)

I clicked on the notification, and was immediately filled with fear as my eyes scanned over her comment.

Ashhey_2255:"Whos that person in the picture? standing near the tree lol, scary!!"
