"he said what?!" aaliyah yelled from the drivers seat of her car.
"i know! i thought i was gonna have an aneurysm!"
"girl, you're down bad." she laughed.
"bitch! he's down bad!" i exclaimed.
it was finally friday night and we were driving to the party.
the last party i was going to be able to attend without being or staying sober.
"do you need me to leave so you can get another ride?" she smirked.
"no! i don't want him to see me drunk again. i can't believe i thought he was... the name we no longer say!"
"fuck the name we no longer say! he can burn in hell along with his tiny dick!"
"aaliyah! i never fucked him!"
"he acts like someone who has a tiny dick! thank god you didn't do anything with him!"
we both laughed harder until we took deep breaths and calmed down.
when we pulled up to the party she took the cart out of her bag. after taking a hit, she offered it to me but i shook my head.
i did a make-up check before getting out of the car.
we walked up to the front door and did a quick scope before we walked in.
"ok, let's go get drinks!" i smiled.
"no! you stay here. i'm gonna surprise you!"
"with what? a roofie?" i laughed.
"maybe... no! im kidding! of course not. just something to ensure you have an amazing night." she winked before walking into the kitchen.
i stood there and looked around. i didn't see anyone i knew so i pulled out my phone and checked for new messages.
after snapping a couple people back, i checked my text messages.
i had a text from matt telling me to be safe and have fun (but not to much fun).
i laughed, shaking my head and putting my phone back in my purse.
i stood there for a little longer until it was to long.
it didn't take anyone this long to make a drink, even if it was a suicide glass.
especially aaliyah.
i have always told her she should be a bartender or something because of how fast she was at making drinks.
i walked to the kitchen but didn't see her.
i asked one of the guys standing by the counter if he had.
"hey, did you see a girl come through here just a second ago? she's brunette, about this tall?"
"um, they was one girl asking what the best drink was to make for her friends birthday but she went that way." he said pointing to the hall to the right.
of course she would say birthday.
"thank you." i said to him, walking toward the hallway.
it led to a flight of stairs that only went up.
sighing, i started walking up, stepping over people and drinks who were sitting there.
why the hell would she come up here?
i knew she had a short attention span so it's easy for her to just run up here if she saw someone she knew.
i was praying that it wasn't another hookup.
