Allysa pov
A week passed quickly and finally it was time to ger back to our old lives. Jared drop me off at my apartment on Sunday so that I could rest and get ready for work on Monday.
Don't ask me why I didn't rest at his house cause we both know that they will be no resting once I enter that house. Cause in Paris, we christen every corner of that hotel. It probably smell like us till this minute.
"Hey Allysa how is the trip?" Jane asked
"It was okay" I replied lazily
"Just okay? I mean you went to Paris and all you can say is okay?"
"Jane, she went with our boss what do you expect it to be? He probably drove her to one meeting to another" Henry said
Right, these guys doesn't even know that Jared and I went on a vacation, all they know is that we went to finalise some deals with some French guy who even doesn't exist.
'The trip was a blast' that is what I wanted to tell them but how can I? I just let then think whatever they could think of.
We heard foot steps coming in and everyone went to their place cause we both know who it was.
"Good morning sir" they greeted him and he only nod his head not bothering to open his mouth.
He walked to me and then put coffee on my table.
"Good morning Allysa" he said with a big smile "it's your favourite" he pointed at the coffee before walking to his office.
How I wanted to hug him. But we agreed to keep it to ourselves for a while
"Wow! I would die to be Allysa right now" Jane said
"Yeah, me too" Jason replied "boss only sees her in this office"
"Guys, Jared is not that bad. Just be patient with him" I said taking a sip on my coffee, but then I realised that there are small writings in the cup.
'I took a sip first, that is the only kiss I can give you' I read and then smile widely. He is so adorable.
"Allysa can you came to my office" Jared's voice came
"Yes Jared" I said taking my tablet and walk to his office ready to give him his today's schedule.
I enter his office finding him sitting on his table looking so handsome with his suit on.
"Hey" I said nervously "Do you need anything before reading your schedule?"
"Yes I do need something" he said swinging his chair backward "come here" he said and I move to him "how about you give me my kiss first" he said pulling me to sit on his lap
"Jared! We agreed" I said but not resisting to sit on him
"Agreed on what? Just give me a kiss and then you can go" he said fixing my hair before starting to caress my cheek. I lean on his hand and close my eyes.
His finger caress my bottom lip before attaching it with his own. We started kissing slowly but then...
"Where is he? Jared!"
"Urgh" Jared groaned as I jump away from him quickly
The door swung open and his grandfather entered
"You bastard. Where were you all week?" He shouted
"Grandpa I-"
"You turned off your phone and disappeared without saying a word, did you want to kill me?" He shouted
"I was in Paris okay. What's the big deal? Nothing happened to me, I'm okay" he shouted
"In Paris? So after you finish all women in New York now you go international? Huh?"
My heart ached. Even though I know that he slept with half of women in the city, I still don't like to hear it.
"Grandpa please.."
"He went with me" I said quickly
"What?" Grandpa turned to look at me
"Paris, he went with me. And I'm not just a woman to him grandpa, I'm his girlfriend" I said quickly and then start to regret
I gave Jared an apologetic look but he was massaging his temple not knowing what to do.
"Grandpa?" He chuckled "girlfriend?"
"If Jared calls you that then it means I should call you grandpa as well right?" I said looking down fidgeting with my fingers
Grandpa looked at me for a while before saying "unbelievable" then he laughed out loudly "Jared, where did you hide her? Such a strong and fearless woman. I like her" he said
"You do?" Jared asked
"Of course" he said "come my dear" I went near him and he hug me tightly. Jared face changed quickly as a bright smile appear.
"Thank you Grandpa" he said and come to hug him "I love you" his grandpa patted his back and then they let go
"I will leave you to work now" he said wanting to leave
"So soon? Aren't you mad anymore?" Jared asked
"Mad? About what? I'm so happy right now"he said walking to the door "I should hurry because I have a wedding to plan"
"A wedding?" We both asked
"Whose wedding?" Jared asked
"Yours silly" Grandpa replied as he walk through the doors
"Grandpa listen-" Jared said before sighing deeply "I knew this would happen"
"I'm sorry. This mouth of mine" I mumbled hitting my mouth with my hands
"Don't be baby. He needed to know anyways or else he would set me up with another girl again" he said pulling me in for a hug
"So what i we gonna do?" I asked
"About what?"
"Marriage" I whispered looking down
"We get married, there is nothing we can do" he sighed "unless you don't want to marry me"
"I do. But..." I started and then look down
"But what?" He asked lifting my chin
"I think it's too soon"
"Ally, i love you and you love me, then why wait any longer? I will still be the same man even when you became my wife. You know, i wasn't thinking about it until grandpa said it and now I think, I would love to call you my wife. I would love to see you carrying my babies. Even if we wait five or ten years, I would still have the same feeling so why wait?"
"Are you proposing?" I asked
"Maybe" he replied
I was in tears, things were moving too fast and I felt overwhelmed
"We could go choose a ring together but for now.." he took a paper and fold it as a ring "Allysa Wright, will you marry me?" He popped the question
"Yes Jared, yes" I said and he put that paper on my finger then we kissed passionately
"Looks good on you" he pointed at my finger
"Crazy" I said before we kiss again "I love you baby"
"I love you more my wife to be"
