Arlo dispite being troubled, was enjoying John resting on his shoulder but the only thing Arlo could think about was the fact him and John were only friends...
he wanted to change that but he was...afraid.
afraid of what others would think about him dating a person of the same sex.
Afraid of what would happen to his reputation as king if anyone found out.
Afraid of what his family would think.
With all these thoughts rushing through arlo's head, he failed to notice the curious person on his shoulder staring at his distressed face.

"Hey, Arlo, you doing okay? Did the medicine not work?? I can give you more. Dont worry just stay here, i'll bring it over!" John smiled and left Arlo who was still staring at him.

"...he makes me happy..why would i care for other people?? He's. The one that makes me happy not them. He's the one taking care of me, making me feel like a spoiled dog low key, but in a good way. He's the one." Arlo thought to himself smiling at the thought of him being able to hang out with John everyday and go out to dinner with him.

Arlo stared at John in the kitchen, getting medicine for him and making tea, he couldnt stop smiling..

"You're gonna burn holes into the back of my head if you keep that up" John said, turning around taking the tea and medicine and bringing it over.
Arlo surprisingly said "Sorry, i just was thinking deeply i didnt even notice.." (sure you didnt 🤨) "but, thank you, John truly for everything" Arlo smiled, making John feel worried but happy inside.

Arlo drank the medicine dispite not even needing it

"Hey, John if you dont mind me asking, are you interested in the same sex by chance?"

John looked at him stunned, not expecting Arlo to ask him that

"Why? You wanna ask me out or something? Haha, actually yes but i never decided to put a label on it you know? I just go with the flow i supose, figuring stuff out about myself and thinking about it"

Arlo looked at him and smiled

"You know what i like about you john? (Everything) its the fact you werent embarressed to be yourself, most people would change themselves to what they think the person would prefer to hear, but you, you dont do that"

John was happy with the compliment and thanked him

"But what about you, Arlo?"

"Me? Well can't deny it i do have an attraction to men thats for sure, but i guess never really tried to date a man before, probably because im afraid of what others would perceive me as if i did."

John looked dissapointed for a moment but then Arlo said

"But...that doesnt mean i wont give it a chance.."

John smiled, then noticed it's late and raining heavily

"Arlo? Do you want me to take you home? Are you feeling better? But its raining a lot, so if you'd like you can stay here i don't mind"

Arlo looked through the window and thought "thank you lord for this chance.🤭"
"I'll stay here, thank you John"

"WOOOOOO ,LETS GO BITCHES. ITS SLEEPOVER TIME."

John yelled dragging Arlo upstair's waking the dog

"Ah! Sorry pupper, go back to sleep!"

John apologised and continued to drag Arlo to his room, he opened the closet pulling out everything he can find and seeing if the look good on Arlo

"Nope, nah, HELL NO, nope, nope, NOPE. Omfg yes."

John looked excited making mr banana peel smile from happiness, he look adorable

"C'mon! I'll show you the bathroom and you can get changed! I'll go change too and i'll wait for you downstairs!"

"Alright!"

5 minutes later

Arlo walks downstairs and sees a fine piece of ass in the kitchen preparing to make dinner in his lil astronaut pj's

Arlo smirks at the opportunity to scare the finess out of him
He sneeks up to John and hugs him from behind lifting him up, spinning him in the air screaming BOO

"aAAAAAAHHhhhHH HAHAHAH WHAT THE F*CK, ARLO YOU SCARED ME"

Arlo laughed putting John back on the ground

John admired the gray sweat pants and white T-shirt he gave him

"Alright alright looking fine i see, princess" John said checking him out while walking in a circle around him

"Thank you, it's comfortable as hell too, anyways what'cha doing?"

"Oh! I was preparing to make dinner buuuut maybe lets order pizza or something im kinda lazy, i can make us food in the morning"

"Sure, sounds good"

John orders the pizza walking to the blonde thats now searching for a movie on the tv

"Any luck?" John asked, leaning on Arlo
"Nope." Arlo said dissapointed
"How do you feel aboooouuut a horror movie?" John suggested
"...sureee" Arlo agreed not wanting to dissapoint John
"Whaaat? You scared, scardy cat?"
"...ye- no"
"HORROR MOVIE IT IS!!"
