(3rd Person POV)

Let me tell you a story of a certain young man, born miserable he was, a failure in the eyes of everyone including god.

He was the epitome of negativity in this world; If one were to consider a person like Chisato Nishikigi or Ichinose Honami the epitome of positivity and purity then this young man would be deemed the antithesis of their entire being.

He had quite the normal pair of parents to look after him and even dismiss his failures and downs but the young man couldn't, each failure and each down first hurt him, he felt anguish and rage at being below people who were just like him, the anguish escalated into a food for his soul and his soul fed his mind and brain to grant him the equivalent of his hatred for this world in strength.

The young man's negativity and hatred for the world was quite deep and brooding for anyone to understand though he himself remembers a woman who realized this young man's negativity and tried to save him but...Forgiveness is a waste on the devil, is it not?.

Though even the devil did have his moments of good, as he chose to never let those he considered closest to him feel worry, even going as far as to end all attempts made by the woman to save him, he would threaten and even hurt her so that she would never once in her life speak to anyone about who exactly was the young man called...Kumagawa Misogi?

A few years ago he lived a small yet curious moment in the playground near his home, he always disconnected himself from the other children as he always believed he'd ruin the game with his existence like the children back in his old home used to say.

He dared not and try to talk to the girl with red hairclips and long brown hair.

Nor did he dare make friends with the boy with black hair that grows down to his ears and it is slightly longer at the back and a birthmark above his right cheek.

He never even batted an eye towards the shy and gloomy boy like him with short black hair and sharp eyes that always hung out with the girl with red hairclips.

"Misogi-kunnn why don't you go play with the others?" The woman he knew as the mother of the girl with red hairclips one day asked Kumagawa as he was digging aimlessly into the sand with his bear beside him.

"Eh? Ahh no thank you miss i am fine here!" he said with an innocent smile through his messy, light gray hair.

"Are you sure?, the other kids look like they need someone else to play with, Haruka-kun would surely make you feel at home too!" she enthusiastically said while cheering him up.

Kumagawa laughed a little as he pushed his bear letting it fall on it's back as he looked back at her.

"They don't even know my name so what's the point?, honestly things would be more fun if the world blew up and i found myself flying in space choking with a smile!" he said so nonchalantly which made the woman shiver slightly before she sighed.

"Yare yare...you're really unbeatable in this department, you win this time Misogi-kun!" she said with a calm smile which made his eyes widen before they narrowed.

"I didn't win anything miss, stop playing with my mind using pretty words" he hissed at her to which she stared calmly at him before patting his head and messing his hair up even more.

"Hey!!" he yelled out before she pulled her hand away and put in her pocket.

She searched through her pockets for all but a few seconds before pulling out a small keychain and placed it into his hand.

"Here!" she said to which he stared calmly at it observing it.

It was a keychain made up of nothing but a screw, nothing about it could interest a child nor amuse them and it didn't even make Kumagawa react in any way.
