Mias POV:
'You bring your dog with you?' I asked, bending down so that I was on my knees, allowing the English bulldog to bound towards me, putting his front two legs up on my knee.'To most races, yeah.' He smiled, watching as his dog licked all over my hands.
'What's his name?'
'Roscoe.' He beamed. A few of the other drivers had dogs, but none of them allowed them to travel.
Roscoe was a social media star, Lewis even made him his own Instagram account.
'He practically runs the paddock.' He laughed.
'I love him. Is he staying for the race?' I asked.
'Yes. But I have a favour to ask you.' He said, kneeling down and calling Roscoe back over to him.
He didn't listen. Sitting down at my feet and staring back at Lewis with his tongue out.
'Speak away.'
'I've got a debrief in half an hour and I was wondering if you'd look after him? He doesn't like my assistant too much and I don't wanna stress him out.' He mumbled as if he was nervous to ask.
'Absolutely. Who could ever say no to this little face?' I smiled, ticking Roscoes chin.
'Really? Are you sure? I'll owe you one.' He said, sighing a heavy sigh of relief.
'No worries, really. I'm happy to look after him.' I smiled, letting him pull me into a hug.
'He doesn't really need his leash but he likes to play up, so if you take him anywhere just make sure you have it on you.' He smiled, placing it down besides me.
'I will. And I hope your debrief goes well.'
'Thanks, Mia. See you later boy.' Lewis called, waving at his dog who still hadn't moved from my feet.
'What do you wanna do Roscoe?' I laughed, as he jumped up, pushing me onto my back and laying across my chest.
I was in the middle of the floor in the Mercedes lounge, with Lewis's dog curled up on my chest.
'I heard Roscoe doesn't like Lewis's new assistant. He seems to like you a lot, though.' George laughed, making me jump.
'He wouldn't even say goodbye to Lewis.' I chuckled.
'Looks like Roscoe's found himself a new friend.' George laughed, leaning down to stroke the dog.
He looked up, at the window, waving, making me turn to look behind me. Daniel and Lando both stood there, looking in at me as if I was a traitor.
'I'll go and take him on a walk, I'm being summoned, I hope the debrief goes well.' I smiled, clipping Roscoe onto his leash just incase, and walking him from the lounge.
'Switched sides already huh?' Lando laughed, giving the dog a stroke.
'For Roscoe I had to.' I smiled.
'What time do you wanna film our video?' He asked, taking the lead from me whilst I tied up my hair.
'About that. Charles is invited too. I decided it was a good way to create some friendly rivalry with another team.' I said, remembering that Charles had worked his way into my YouTube video.
'You wanna embarrass him on YouTube like that? Lando knows his shit.' Daniel laughed.
'They're both gonna be embarrassed. Loser of each question gets pied.' I smiled.
Lando's face dropped the same way Charles's had.
'No. Are you serious?' He asked.
'Yup.'
