When Wednesday wakes up in the quiet of Ajax's room, the first thing she does isn't to murder him, but to rasp out, "Don't tell Enid." His mouth opens to oppose, but then he closes it, perhaps finding it wiser not to argue with the half dead girl in front of her. Still, it was obvious that Wednesday was testing his loyalty as a friend to Enid.
Ajax and Enid had become a thousand times closer to one another since they had both come out, each figuring out their preferences around a relatively similar time. Thing always poked and prodded at Wednesday, asking if she was jealous about it, to which Wednesday simply grabbed his favorite bottle of hand lotion, dangling it over the trash can. That kept him quiet very efficiently.
Speaking of the Thing, the hand hurried into view on the bed, rapidly signing things. Wednesday nods and makes a small sound of appreciation before turning her head to Ajax. Despite her face lacking a smile, her voice didn't hold its usual bite. "It seems I owe you a favor for listening to Thing and not alerting anyone of my regrettable condition. I do not like being in debt. What would you like from me in return?"
Shaking his head, Ajax gives a small smile. "Just make sure you don't die for something like this. Enid would never stop blaming herself." He held his hand out to help her up from the bed.
Ajax was such a sweet guy. Disgustingly sweet to Wednesday. Yet, she spares him, simply opting to wobble out of the bed by herself and does not slap his hand away or twist his arm for offering. In typical Wednesday fashion, she doesn't look back as she exited the room, about as loud as the dark of the night was bright.
That night Enid doesn't stumble in until dawn, and Wednesday silently admires Enid as she hums, getting ready for bed. How could she let such a beautiful soul change?

Morticia and Gomez were more than aware of what was going on. After she had announced over the crystal ball that she and Enid were formally dating, they had paused. Something nobody else would've noticed because their faces had quickly melted into glee and pride. Enid was sitting excitedly next to her, their hands clasped together. Not one word came from them even after to admonish her.
Instead Gomez gushed, "My little scorpion has found her forever!"
Wednesday glared while Enid stuttered out, "I-I we haven't talked about forever yet, I don't even know if- I. I mean I hope we stay together as long as possible but-" Then Enid bites her lip as Gomez gives a booming laugh.
"Oh she's planning their future already in her head! They're made to be!" Morticia said, nodding in approval.
Gleefully, Gomez added, "Don't they just remind you of us? The moment I laid eyes on you, cara mia, our whole future played out in my head." He grabbed her hand, kissing it and then up her arm with increasing fervor.
With that, the glaringly obvious problem was completely ignored when Wednesday and Enid's relationship began.
However, in their weekly packages, stealthily hidden within the folds were always more antihistamines and back up epipens.
So when Wednesday finally asked them for help, they weren't surprised in the least. "Oh my little scorpion... sometimes love is enough for somebody to change", Gomez said, his voice and face soft with something akin to what Wednesday took for pity.
Wednesday shook her head vehemently with a scowl. "I would die before I let her change herself for me." The entire idea of Enid changing was what she had been avoiding this entire time. Wednesday didn't want to make the one that she cared about be any different. Everyone else seemed to expect Wednesday to find somebody decidedly Addams', like Gomez was with Morticia.
