The Other World

-Chapter 3-

Mia's POV.
The next day~

So here I am on a Thursday morning wait on my sister to get dressed so we can meet her friends and Conner at the mall. I'm dressed in a high waisted green skater skirt, with a black and white stripped crop top. With short white knee socks and black combat boots.

And once my sister finally decides to come down stairs to go, she's wearing a white crop top with black chevron prints fading into grey and a green vest, with white high waisted shorts and the same combat boots.

We have great taste, and I guess the same favorite colors. we both love green.

"Wow.. the twin thing is really catching on huh?" Spencer asks me with a smirk. Why does she always smirk it's like never a smile.
"Yeah I guess it is, you ready to-" I got cut off by Conner barging into the front door with out knocking. "who's ready to go? Wow you two actually look like twins... For once." He says, then adding. "well hurry up let's go show you two off!" He says like he's proud.

I smirk, "lead the way!"
I guess I smirk a lot too.

Once we get outside Spencer runs and jump on to her boyfriend Chris and kisses him. Get a room!

"Get a room! You two desgust me!" Conner says while coming from behind me and putting his hands on my shoulders, as he pulls the words right out of me.

Then he adds, "okay so since I know Mia ways better than any of you all will, she will be riding in my car. You all will be riding with Chris, any objections? Didn't think so, let's go Mia." and with that we turn and leave.
Okay then?

Once in the car we all hit the road. the mall were going to is an hour away. Hey I didn't pick it Spence' did.

"So what are you getting at the mall? I don't really need anything so I'll just stick with you." Conner blurts out of the blue like always. "huh? Oh yeah I need outfits and a old book. And why stay with me? You have friends, I don't." I say. Which is true, my only friend and she was my best friend is now, gone. it's the only way to describe it, she just one day came over an told me that I would need to find her, and that she couldn't tell me where she was going and that I have to find out. and that happened 2 years ago. And till this day I'm still searching for her going in my 18th birthday. we both believed in time travel and that they're different universes. and the ritual on saterday could possibly be me finding her finally.

I just hope it works.

"Earth to Mia... are you there?" Conner says snapping me out of my of thought. "yeah?"
"I said, I'm sticking with you so we can be friends, if you would like of course." he says shyly. "yeah I would like that. I would like that a lot."

The hour has pasted as we are now at the mall. Now for me to find an Urban Outfitters.

"Okay let's meet up in 2 hours?" I blurt out. And they actually listen. Wow.
Then we slit apart, me and Conner, Spencer and Chris, and Jade and Nick.

"So where to my lady?" Conner speaks with a modern accent, "to thou Urban of outfitters?" I say using the say voice. "And there we shall!"

So at urban outfitters I looked and found 4 dresses and 3 other outfits. the dress I really like is a bohemian green dress, well it's a romper and a dress in one? It was most lace and the romper itself was a solid green while the skirt part hung almost to my knees.

Then I got some sandals to go with it, the lace on the ankles to match the dresses belt perfectly. I had to try it on.

Once I walked out the dressing room to show Conner he playing on his phone.

"So what do you think?" He looks up and his eyes go wide.
"You look.. wow, like wow, wow. I never seen you in a dress before, you look beautiful." I blush of course. The only pepole would has ever called me beautiful was my dad and mom.

"Thanks it- it means a lot." that causes him to smile a genuine smile. "any time Mia" then I smile, "I'm going to change into the other outfit."

I tried on the rest of the outfits modeling the last one I had to Connor

"Like or dislike? Either way I'm buying it." I say independently, "I like it, it suits you. And I'm coming to think your not a nerd." He says slyly. I smirk "Good because I'm not. I hate being under that title, and what's wrong with being smart? It's better than walking around popular people and being dumb as a brick, oh wait the brick is already smarter!" I pause from my sudden outburst, "I'm sorry, I just hate the title, I was always under that title because I'm shy and smart..." I sigh, "it's okay and you not going to be in that title anymore, you will not be over my dead body." He whispers in my ear as he hugs me.

"Thank you" I say in a whisper. "anytime" he says still hugging me.
"Oh yeah, the book we have to search" I say kind of worried I won't find a blank book. "no need, while you were looking for a outfit I went to look for one, it was in the really weird store called..." I think, " Kehrseite?" His eyes bright up, "yeah how did you know? And do you know the meaning of it it sounds weird." I laugh, "it means flip side in German." I say laughing "oh." was all he said.

Spencer's POV.
Were finally home! It's 12 something at night! Oh how I hate traffic! I ended up not buying anything, I hate that mall I refuse to go there ever again.

I head upstairs to change into my pajamas, which are navy blue shorts with a black over sized band tee shirts and socks.
Then I walk down to the game room to spend time with my sister. We have really similar styles surprisingly, for example. She is also wearing shorts but they are white and a black over sized crop top with neon blue socks. Only difference is she has a crop top and I have a tee and different colors.

"Hey, wanna play connect!" I say plopping down beside her. "um can we in a half a hour? I'm practicing for the ritual on Saturday." I look at her with a questionable look. "ritual? And what would you have to practice?" She sighs, "yes ritual, and I'm practicing a spell, and I can't tell you you have to find out and this isn't fake it's real.. I just need it to work." I'm not going to say anything. "Okay" she raises a eyebrow then turns away.

"I'm going to go to sleep then, see you in the morning, mom and dad are supposed to be coming home tomorrow" I seriously can't wait! I couldn't wait to see the parents that are never home. I hardly know them. I'm surprised they called me instead of Mia, I guess they take turns on us.

"Really yay!" She squeals. I roll my eyes, "night!" I turn on my heals "wait I'm coming too I'm tired." She says joining me. And with that we head to out rooms.

Mia's POV.
Once I get under the covers to go to sleep my phone goes off. Who text me? Cue Frozen's - For the first time in forever.

-Unknown #: are you asleep?

This is so random...

-me: who is this?
-unknown #: you don't know do you?
-me: do you honestly think I would ask if I knew?
-unknown #: touché
-me: you gonna tell me or...?
-unknown #: guess.
-me: no! Tell me or I'll block you.
-unknown #: your no fun, it's Conner!
-me: oh wow.. Sorry. ;-;
-Conner: it's fine. so are you asleep?
-me: really? Hm, I thought we were in deep conversation but I guess I'm dreaming
-Conner: sorry that was a stupid question, I have a question though
-me: shoot!
-Conner: what are you doing tomorrow?
-me: nothing really my parents are coming home but I'm free
-Conner: ok good. I wanted to know if you were up for coming with me to this thing for football, it's like a party but it's not? anyway everyone should have a date, and the first person I thought about was you, so you in?
-me: sure sounds like fun! :) And I guess that would help me break out of the shell huh?
-Conner: yes! :) I'll pick you up at 1:00 tomorrow afternoon, and you will break out of that shell if it the last thing I have to do!
-me: okay okay, well can I go to sleep now? It is around 1:30am
-Conner: I guess you can, see you tomorrow beautiful ;)
-me: okay good nite :)

Then I fall asleep blushing like a idiot. life is wonderful!
