Kylo woke Rey by gently kissing her forehead. She took a deep breath through her nose and sighed.
"Morning." She croaked as she looked up at the man leaning over her.
"I think we need a lesson today." Said Kylo, tucking a stray hair behind her ear.
"Oh okay." She said. She wrapped her legs round him and leant in for a kiss.
"Not that sort of lesson, a real one." Kylo chuckled.
Rey looked at him, slightly embarrassed.
"I mean if I feel like the lesson goes well, there could be a reward later." Said kylo suggestively.
Rey smiled. She walked back to her room and went into the chest full of clothes. She came across a black two piece outfit that vaguely resembled Kylo's own outfit. She put it on and admired herself in the mirror. She certainly looked the part now.
When he saw her, Kylo's look softened. Her outfit that almost matched his looked perfect. He flew her to a beautiful green planet. The ship landed in a clearing surrounded by a forest which was full of life.
They sat together in the clearing.
"I'm going to force hold this Boulder." He said, nodding at a small Boulder sat 20 feet away from them. "When I shut my eyes, I want you to blast it, but not let any of the pieces hit me." He said.
Rey looked shocked. "But what if I..." she trailed off. She was deathly afraid of hurting people she cared about, especially him.
"I have trust that you won't let any of those pieces hit me. Have that same trust in yourself that I have in you."
Rey took a deep breath. Kylo lifted the Boulder level with his head. He shut his eyes as she raised her hand out. With a pushing motion, she exploded the rock into dozens of pieces which flew at Kylo.
She suspended all the rocks around him. He opened his eyes to see Rey guiding the rocks past him, bringing them together and swirling them in the air until they reached the ground.
Kylo smiled. "Amazing." He said proudly.
He took her hand and walked her into the woods. The scent of pine surrounded them. So many wild flowers covered the forest floor like a carpet. They walked through them and came to a lagoon. The water was crystal clear with a small cliff. At the cliff sat another Boulder. This one was huge - about the size of the escape pod she'd arrived to the first order ship in.
"Move it." Kylo said.
"That's way too big to move." Said Rey.
"Believe in yourself." He replied. "I always have."
She stretched her arm out once more. The Boulder rolled from side to side. Rey grunted. It wasn't budging.
She dropped her hands with a sigh.
"I want you to pick a memory." Said Kylo.
Rey looked confused.
"Pick something that makes you angry, something that makes your blood boil."
Rey shut her eyes. She thought of Leia's betrayal. She replayed their conversation in her head and she started breathing faster.
"Let it radiate all over your body. Feel the fury fill you up." He said.
Rey felt a rush of adrenaline. Her eyes opened wide. They had a different sparkle in them now. She lifted her arm again. The Boulder shook again from side to side, this time more vigorously.
"Think about it more, Rey. That Boulder is your memory, the thing that angers you. What do you want to do with it?" He asked.
"I want to move it. I want to destroy it." She said.
Kylo nodded.
She moved her other arm upwards. The Boulder flew into the air. She screamed and suddenly, it exploded. The rocks fell into the water.
All of a sudden, a gush of water came cascading down the rocky cliff. The waterfall made the most calm, relaxing wooshing sound that filled the lagoon.
Kylo was so proud. She showed so much potential and to give her the realisation that she had that was a privilege.
After a little more practise of control and using anger to drive her force, they sat down. She peered down at her reflection in the lagoon which moved and rippled with the water.
"I've always seen myself as so alone, my whole life," she said.
He leant over and looked down with her.
"Now what do you see?" He asked gently.
"You...me...us" she stammered. She looked up at him and smiled.
"You always have me and I'll always be with you, Rey." He said comfortingly. "Always." He whispered.
Rey thought how far they'd come from the white room compared with now. They were united, they were connected.
