She turned around at the sound of his voice and gave him a stare that would have turned anyone to stone, a stare so filled with contempt, filled with haughty disapproval and complete indignation that it sent a chill down Patrick's spine. But he met her gaze, matched her overripe bitchface and threw it back at her with a wicked grin. She backed off, turned her head around to face forward and squared her shoulders in her seat. Patrick felt smuggish delight at her defeat. She had attempted to shame him with the tiny faux pas he committed of talking while the symphony was playing. Patrick wanted to mouth a simple "Fuck Off" at her but here he was, this incredible evening at the San Francisco Symphony, this benefit concert, in his new Hugo Boss suit that set him back more than a couple of paydays, with this devastatingly sexy man sitting to his left, there was protocol and decorum that needed to be followed. Patrick looked over at Kevin, dressed to kill in a basic black number, light grey shirt and tie with a small silver and navy stripe, he wanted him now, in front of this capacity audience of 18,000, in front of a full orchestra of 250 musicians and a coral group of boys and girls ranging in age 9 to 16 who might have their first introduction to the joys of gay sex this very night. Kevin pulled his silver framed glasses from his suit pocket, placed them on his face and studied the program. Patrick shifted his body in his seat. He was done. The glasses just did it to him every time. With the subtlest of movement, Patrick lowered his arm and with the back of his hand touched the fabric of Kevin's right pant leg just above his knee cap. Kevin's eyes immediately pulled away from the song list and up to Patrick's face. He was desperately struggling to stifle an erupting smile that would undermine the tone of his words. "Stop that", he whispered to him, not the least bit serious in meaning. He turned away quickly as broke into a small laugh that was covered by the noise of the applause. Patrick laughed as well. This perfect night would soon be capped off with the perfect ending of them together in their perfect apartment in their perfect bed, laying in each other's arms after perfect makeup sex. He opened his program and ran the list of songs still to be played. There were five. As the first notes from the "Ode to Joy" sounded, Patrick felt imbolded and placed his entire palm over Kevin's knee cap, giving it a lazy slight rub. Kevin kept his eyes straight ahead at the stage but gave a long close of his eyelids to signal he was definitely enjoying the feel of the hand on his leg. With wicked thoughts now running rampant through his head, Patrick slid his hand from knee cap to the inside of Kevin's thigh which caused Kevin to quickly shift in his seat and slide his eyes over to Patrick, forming the word "No" with his mouth, not spoken, and shaking his head. Patrick countered with sticking his tongue out just beyond his lips. Applause erupted as the music concluded.

Kevin leaned over and whispered into his ear," I am thinking the most indecent thoughts about you right now and how I so want to get you out of that incredibly gorgeous suit."

"Indecent Thoughts?" Patrick repeated in full voice and rather loudly. "Mr. Matheson, what about your wife and 11 children at home?" It was just audacious enough for the woman in front of him to turn and give Patrick the most shocked and disapproving glare. He returned the look with a sly wink of his eye.

"Patrick Murray, you are a wicked thing", Kevin laughed.

The car crawled out of the parking structure as traffic was gridlocked for blocks from symphony hall to the on ramp of the freeway. Kevin tapped the steering wheel of the range rover and hummed one of the songs they had just heard.

"That was amazing", Patrick said as he adjusted the heat setting in the car. " I wasn't sure I'd like it. I've never been to the San Francisco Symphony but it was incredible. The music was wonderful."

"I'm glad we went and I'm so glad you enjoyed it", Kevin replied as he finally broke the car out from the gridlock of the traffic and maneuvered onto the freeway. " I thought it would be fun to do something different tonight. And for such a great cause. Have I told you how beautiful you look tonight?"
