"Josh, there's a party I'm throwing this Friday, you should totally come." Max, one of my friends, said.

"Seriously dude, it's gonna be the coolest party of the year." Justin said.

School was finally over. I thought I'd die in that art class. I never liked art anyway.

"See you guys at school tomorrow." I shouted over my shoulder while running home.

I arrived home and saw Sophie riding her skateboard. Seriously though, what is her deal? Has she ever heard of the shops?! She seriously needs to get a new skateboard, it's clearly falling apart. Although, I won't tell her that, cause I'd love to see her fall off of it.

The minute I walked inside the house, I was instantly bombarded by my mom and dad.

"Joshie dear, quickly go upstairs and change into some fresh clothes." my mom said.

"Where're we going?" I asked.

"To the Sinclair house." my dad said.

We arrived at the "Sinclair house" and sat down at the table. The man and woman who lived there were really kind and welcoming. I was laying my napkin on my lap, but when I looked up I saw Sophie. I swear she's everywhere. This must be where she lives. I didn't know she lived here, I just thought she lived in the neighborhood. Great. My evening is already starting to look up.

I scrunched up my nose and mouthed the word 'rat' while no one was looking. She rolled her eyes at me and sat down in the only available seat. Next to me.

The evening started okay, Sophie was just being salty and kept giving me dirty looks when she was sure no one was looking. I (obviously being the person I am) returned the favour and gave her dirty looks too. She asked some questions and I said to her, "Curiosity killed the cat."

She ignored me and carried on listening to my mom and Ashley(her mom).

When we were eating, the adults were indulged in their own conversation and I took the opportunity to tell Sophie:

" You know, this goody-two-shoes act is not working on me." I remarked, putting a smile on my face so it looked like I was complementing her or whatever.

"Good, because I wasn't talking to you."  she said with a fake smile plastered on her face as well.

"Since day one you've always been such an annoying rat. Haven't you been told to be nice to people?" I asked.

"Be nice?! I was nice to you the first time I met you...I offered you cookies to welcome you into the neighborhood. You are such a hypocrite, and have you ever heard of the saying practice what you preach? Well actually never mind don't answer that." she whisper shouted.

We stopped talking to each other after that and the evening went sort of well.

One things for certain, I hate Sophia freaking Sinclair.
