the forgotten princess

prologue

It all begins when y/n is 20 and her baby sister is 16 being the princesses of Westeros and knowing your father wants a son hasn't been fun but he does love us that much is true.
My auntie is the queen who never was but I never liked that name for her she was always simply Rhaenys the women had so much love to show the world.  The way she saw the world always confused me because some people could be so mean and my father doesn't say anything even though he is king and could order them to stop and my uncle is the kings guard but also knows the importance of family it seems to be the one thing we all have in common we all love are family so much and its the most wonderful feeling. 

My mother is again pregnant and everyone is hoping for a male so the iron throne has an heir as if everyone forget about me and my sister or just mostly me i prefer to be in the shadows and just be me and it works until there is a ball or a grand ceremony and it just so happened that the day my mother went into labour my father had a festival and people were jousting and they asked for favours off the women and one asked my auntie and he called her the queen who never was and my blood boiled and i was about to say something when he walked away and got hit off his horse but what annoyed me more was that good for nothing husband who just sat there he didn't even appreciate who she was yet every time i see her i just see how beautiful she is it warms my heart but it also hurts because i know she would never see me that way.

A few hours later we got news that my mother had given birth but sadly both died and the baby was a boy so now my father has to name either me or my sister heir but i know it won't be me because he hardly ever spends time with me and i have heard what people call me, I'm known as the forgotten princess because people forget i exist unless I'm at a ball or big ceremony.

 I think the worst thing was they asked my sister to use her dragon and not me considering I'm the eldest and i have more control over my dragon call star fire and he's only called that because he has a purple tint to his body. I had read something strange in an old book about dragons it says that when a dragon meets it mate the person its destined to spend there life with if they have riders both rider and dragons are destined to fall for the other i think its why i don't like star fire being alone in the dragon pit because i don't know who he would pick or i think he would pick meleys and that would mean me and my auntie are destined but i risk it because if it happens it only becomes a matter time after that and then hoping me dad doesn't find out so he don't banish me.
