I dragged myself into my truck, feeling all of the weight seeming to succumb me to my seat. I could till feel Danny's eyes haunting me even after I had left the police station. I was told that I needed to go buy a car or somehow have a car to use for these supposed car races. I figured I would go ahead and buy one, since my truck isn't exactly "race" worthy. After pulling off the lot, my miles on my tires were the only changing lights I could see. Maneuvering to a traffic stop, two cars stood ready at the other side of the intersection.

a Lexus IS 300?

I couldn't help but chuckle. Though I stayed parked at the light, showing that I wasn't moving from the spot. The cars began to rev up, warming up the tires with the help of the pavement down below. Like a bat out of hell, they took off down the road, leaving nothing but loose gravel and dust in their paths. Since then, I never did see them again.

.. wow.

Shaking my head I then head to the dealership to get a car.

Finally pulling up on the lot, I quickly throw on a t-shirt and toss my badge into the cup holder. I then walk into the shop. The smell of oil and rust hits my nose, tensing at the pungent smell. Very nice cars were lined up along the walls, with small papers with its information in each window. But one found my eye.

a huge Lamborghini Murcielago with matte ghost black stood at the back wall for almost $80,000. I pulled my wallet out as I pulled out a chunk of money, worth over $170,000. Biting my lip, I then start to contemplate how I want to use the other money for. A gentleman came out of the back, a scruffy dog is tow.

"Hello can I help you?" asked the gentleman.

completely taken aback from the quick interaction, I stumbled at my words.

"H-hello.. I was interested in that murcielago in the far back."

he simply nodded, walking towards the back once more, the sound of keys jingling from the abyss. Tossing me the keys and then taking the wad of money that was calculated for the car, I then got her towed to my apartment.

Later on...

Standing in the driveway of my house, I couldn't help but wonder how exactly I would make the car look... meaner.

Maybe a spoiler?

A new paint job?

Some rims maybe?

My brain began to brainstorm all these amazing ideas but then.. it hit me.
