The Big Move

Description:
My name is Mia Sofia Bui,
I have long brown hair and light brown eyes. I'm curvy and I have a big bum..if you know what I mean. I'm haft Asian and haft Mexican. I'm 17 years old.

My father was born from a rich Vietnamese family and my mother was an immigrate from Mexico. Over the past years, my father would come home drunk and would abuse me and my mother but luckily my mother is a very strong, brave and isn't afraid to stand up for both me and her.

I woke up to the sound of my mother whispering into my ear "Mija!, you need to pack your bags right now because I am sending you to go live in California while I settle things with your father."

I got up as quickly as I could and packed a couple suitcases, just before my father knew I'm gone. My mother drove me to the air port and gives me all the information about my flight and transportation for when I arrive in California, she told me that she has arranged for me to live with my good friend Lia. After about an hour of checking in and arriving at my terminal it was time to broad the plane. My mother and I say our last goodbyes and then I had to broad the plane, while my plane took off I starred out the window and noticed my mother in tears causing my to also cry. I know it's for the best and that she is a strong independent women who can face any situation, know this it took a lot of weight off my shoulders.

I was on the plane for about an hour now and I began to feel tire, next thing I know I'm asleep. I was then woken up by an annoying guys voice telling me to wake up. I tell him to "shut up and let me sleep". I then remembered I was on a plane and bolted out of my seat and off the plane. I finally arrived in California to find Lia outside with her arms wide open for a hug. I've honestly missed her so much since she moved to California. I then put my luggage into her car and we head to her place.

We arrive to her apartment and I Begin to take my luggage into her apartment. Lia's apartment was beautiful it had a big kitchen, 2 floors, 3 rooms, 2 bathrooms and she had a husky. I placed my luggage into my room and me and Lia decided to head out for dinner since it was around 6:30pm.

My mother told me that I was enrolled in the same school as Lia, Chino Hills high school. It was Saturday and I started school Monday. Lia and I caught up a bit while watching Netflix and ended up falling asleep. The next morning I realized I had no supply's for school since I only packed my necessities so Lia and I decided to go shopping for some school supply's and clothes. I wore a white Pom tree crop top and black high waisted shorts with some black vans, while Lia wore a black skater dress and some red flats. We then left the apartment and arrived at target, we then bought my school supply's and then me and Lia headed to the mall.

The mall in California was huge, it was nothing compared to the mall back in Kansas. I fell in love with California instantly. Lia and I walk out of PAC sun and next thing you know a couple of guys start cat calling, Lia and I just ignore it until one of the guys smacks my butt. I grabbed his arm and spun around twisting his arm and making him tilt to the side in pain. I never took karate or anything like that it was just reflexes. He then began to yell in pain and I told him that was really mature and then I let goof his arm. Lia starred at me in amazement while we walked away.

Convo:
Lia- What was that Mia?!
Me- just reflexes I guess.
Lia- remind me never to mess with you.
Me- my ninja side will come out!

Lia and I bust out laughing causing people to stare at us, after a long day we arrived home and packed my things for school including lunch. I took a shower and chose my outfit for tomorrow.

Monday morning 6am, I woke up to my loud alarm going off. I got out of bed and changed into my outfit. I wore a white tank top, shorts, and a light pink floral kimono. I headed to the bathroom and put on light make up and some lip stick. I headed to the kitchen seeing Lia eating breakfast. It was 6:40 am and we had to be at school before 8:00 am, we then left for school and grabbed some Starbucks on the way. We finally arrive at school and I see so many people everywhere. I was super nervous starting in the the middle of first semester. Lia escorted me to the office where I received my schedule.

Schedule:
1st hour - math - Mr. Pederson
2nd hour - Spanish 3 -Mr. Belton
3rd hour - Honors Chemistry - Mrs. Wilson
4th hour - Physical Education - Mrs. Bonds
5th hour - Avid - Mr. Field
6th hour - Honors History - Mr. Field
7th hour - Honors English - Mrs. Garcia
8th hour - Seminar (study hall) - Mr. Field

I had 2 classes with Lia, 3rd and 7th hour. The bell rang and I got lost. After about 5 minutes of being lost I final find my class. I walk into the class and was greeted by the teacher. He then introduced me to the class and then he told me to sit in the empty seat in the back of the class. 30 mins into class a brown haired boy with light brown eyes walks into the class, walking towards me. He then sat in the empty seat next to me and starts starring at me. It was super awkward until he screams .................
