Melanies P.O.V

"Okay students, everyone grab a gown and a hat and let's get this over with." are professor says. Everyone rushes to get their gowns and caps. "Hello, family members." you can hear are professor say through the microphone. He was doing the usual intro and then said, "Can the 2020 grads please come to the stage?" He says through the microphone while the crowd roars. Everyone screaming someone else's name. All you can hear is, "WHOO-HOO." I get in line as everyone exits and goes to stand in a line for their diploma. "Melanie Cox," I hear my name get called. I hurriedly rush to the podium and accept my diploma. They move my tassel to the other side of my cap. I Gradly walk behind the curtain with a big smile on my face. After everyone got there diploma. the professor ancounnced that all the graduates need to report back on stage for the final speech, by melanie cox. "It doesn't matter that your dream came true if you spent your whole life sleeping. So get out there and go for it, but don't be caught waiting. It's great to plan for your future. Just don't live there, because really nothing ever happens in the future. Whatever happens happens now, so live your life where the action is now." "Thank you and congrats to the lavaca high school class of 2020 said melanie." I will take my seat and remember all those kindergarten walked we took with our teach before nap time.
