Chapter 1- What Wait!!

Andy's POV:                                                                                                                                                                              

It was Friday at last. I could not wait to start the weekend. I am at the lab with Liv and Mike. We did some early ghost training before school since there were not many ghost attacks lately. We recently celebrated Liv's "half birthday" recently as a family and I am not sure why we are celebrating her half birthday as a family, so she basically has 2 birthdays for some reason. I did some basketball with Drake before coming here as well and beat him as usual.

"That was great training today, kids', said Miss Jones who was our mentor and the one who is behind the boo technology of our ghost hero suits and Glowboo also agrees with Miss Jones.

"Yep, it was great", said Liv as she smiled at Miss Jones.

"Yep, even it is weird that not that there weren't any ghosts attacking this week," I said.

"Yeah, it is kinda weird, indeed," said Mike.

" Yeah agree..", asked Miss Jones

"What are you doing today, Miss Jones?", I asked Miss Jones.

"Liv is helping me with something later today," said Miss Jones.

"It sucks I could not help Miss Jones since I am hanging out with Charlie after school," said Mike as he slightly blushed since he did like Charlie for so long.

"It is fine, Mike. There is always a next time," said Miss Jones.

"Andy, what are you doing after school?" Miss Jones asked me as I looked at her.

"Probably play video games in my room since Liv is helping you and Mike is hanging out with Charlie," I said.

"Umm, sorry Andy," said Liv as she smiled.

"Yeah sorry bro," said Mike as well.

"It is fine since we did training today already," I said as I smiled at them.

"We should get going to class right now," said Mike after he looked at his phone for the time.

"Ok, kids. Liv, see you later. Andy & Mike, I will see you two tomorrow then," said Miss Jones as we waved bye to her and left for class.

Meanwhile with Melissa & Jay Baker...

Third Person POV: 

Melissa and Jay came back home from filming a part of their movie. Melissa sat down on a chair with her phone in her hand. Ever since Larissa told her they won the court against her ex-parents a few days ago, she hasn't texted or called even since that day.

Jay: Is everything alright hun?

Melissa: Just wondering what Larissa is doing right now. She hasn't texted or called after her court battle is done with her ex-parents.

Jay: Relaxed dear. Larissa is finally free from her parents. She is just probably relaxing now.

Melissa: Yeah, you are right.

*Melissa's phone rings* Melissa looks at her phone while Jay sits beside her.

Melissa: Larissa is calling!

Jay: That's good. (Melissa answers the call)

Larissa: Hi Mel & Jay. I am so sorry for not texting or calling!

Jay: Hi Larissa!

Melissa: It is okay. You did make me worried again.

Larissa: *giggles* sorry! I called because I have news!

Melissa: Really? What is it?

Larissa: I did put a restraining order against my ex-parents. Also, Theresa & her husband, Karson are my official new parents and they also adopted my brother.

Jay: that's great news!

Melissa: I am so happy that you are free from your horrible parents. Doesn't Theresa & Karson have a son too?

Larissa: Yes, Sebastian & I met Kyle. Kyle is happy to have 2 siblings now. He was tired of being an only child.

Melissa: That is great. Why did you not call or text me after so long?

Larissa: Oh about that? We were busy packing boxes to move.

Jay: Wait move?

Larissa: mhm. We are coming to New York by the way!

Melissa: Oh wow! I can not wait to see you again after so long!

Jay: that's great news! Can't wait to see you & Ivor after so long!

Larissa: I forgot to ask. How is my first sweet daughter Liv doing?

Melissa: Liv is doing great.

Larissa: That's great. I am upset I couldn't see my first daughter grow up during her pre-teen years.

Jay: At least you will be seeing her again after moving here.

Jay and Melissa talked to Larissa still asked her about her business as a fashion designer and how her other kids are doing as well.

Back to Andy...

Andy's POV:

After school.....

"Arghhhhh, I am so bored", I said to myself as I sat on the curb in front of the school. Why am I still here? I should head home since Miss Jones needs my sister, still, I don't know why she needs her. Why is Mike with Charlie? So I am by myself. I might just as well play my video games in my room then. I took out my phone and texted Liv that I was heading home right now. She replied right away saying ok and that she would meet me at home when she leaves school. I started to walk home.

Time skip

I finally arrived home. I saw my parents' car near our house. I opened the door quietly to make sure I didn't bother Mom or Dad since they usually came back from filming or were sleeping after filming. As I closed the door quietly, I heard 3 voices. The 2 of them were my parents, but I noticed they were talking to someone that I didn't know. So I tippy-toe close to the living room where I saw both my parents talking on my mom's phone with the speaker on. "Also have you two told Andy about Liv being adopted?" which is a question that came from my mother's phone.

"Wait... Liv is adopted!?" I said to myself while being surprised at what I just heard...
