Andy's Pov:

"Wait... Liv is adopted!?" I said to myself while being surprised at what I just heard...

I saw my parents look at each other.

"We haven't told Andy yet since we were busy filming, " said my mother.

"Make sure you tell him soon. I am pretty sure Andy wants to know the real reason for Liv having two birthdays", said the person on the phone with my parents.

"Wait because Liv was adopted, that is the real reason why she has 2 birthdays?" I thought to myself while I was overhearing their conversation.

"Don't worry Larissa, we will," my dad said.

"We will tell Andy about Liv being adopted soon", mom said.

"Who is Larissa?" I thought.

I didn't hear the rest of the conversation since my brain was trying to process the new pieces of information I just got...

"My sister is Adopted!? Who is Larissa?... So the reason why Liv has 2 birthdays was because of her being adopted... Does Liv even know she was adopted?"

After a minute I got my head together, I went into the living room & said, "Mom, Dad?" I saw both my parents turn their heads quickly toward me.

My parents were shocked since they did not notice I was there.

"Uhhhhh, Hey Andy, how long have you been there?", my dad asked me.

"I've been here for a good minute," I replied.

"Did you overhear our conversation?", asked my mother.

"Yes, I did, sorry," I said with a hint of guilt as both of my parents sighed.

"It is ok Andy, we were supposed to tell you eventually, but not this way," said my dad.

"Come, sit down Andy since we need to tell you something," said my mom while waving her hands to come over to sit with them and I sat between them

"So now you know that Liv is adopted," said my dad as he looked at me.

"Yes, I do now," I replied.

"I guess it's finally time to tell you why we adopted her," Mom said.

I sat quietly on the couch listening intently to what they had to say.

"So let's talk about Larissa, you probably have questions about who she is," My dad said

"Yes, I do. Who is she?" I said.

"Well, Larissa is one of our bestest friends. She was very close to your mother," said my dad.

"Larissa is also Liv's biological mother as well," said my mother.

'Oh, she is Liv's real mother?" I asked looking at my mother.

"Yes, she is, but due to a situation with Larissa's parents, she decided to give Liv to us since she trusted us to take care of her," said my mother.

Is that why we celebrated one of Liv's birthdays just as a family?" I asked.

"Yes, that is right," said My dad.

"Do you know why Larissa had to give up Liv?", I asked.

"Well....." My dad hesitated.

"We have to tell him, dear. Larissa will be coming and Andy needs to know Larissa's situation", said my mom.

"Ok dear," said my dad to my mom.
