Chapter 3

Heaven's POV:

I was finishing some homework for my classes but then my mom called me to come to her.

"Honey, can you come here please?", said my mother who was calling me.

I went to her since she was in the kitchen.

"Yes, Mom? Do you need something?" I asked my mother as she was looking at me with a smile.

"You are going to school where your cousin Andy and your best friend Liv go," said my mom. I was so happy to hear the news.

"That is amazing. Wait, does this mean we are moving to Manhattan where Dad lives too?" I ask my mom.

"Yeah, we are since Larissa's family is moving to New York. Larissa is freed from her parents now which is why they are coming to New York. Did you forget about your brother too?" said my mom.

"That is so cool. Liv is gonna find out she is adopted then. I can not wait to see my old friend & my cousin again. No, I did not forget my brother. It would be nice to see my annoying brother again too even though I love him and hate him most of the time," I said as my mother giggled.

"Your teachers know that Tuesday will be your last day. Your father came over and helped me pack the boxes since the moving truck with be here on Tuesday morning while you are in school so we will be going after you are done with school," said my mom.

"How about my credits?" Will they be transferred to my new middle school?", I asked my mom.

"Yes. They will be before you start school with your cousin. You can also pack your own boxes and I will help you," said my mom.

"Oh ok. I am done with my homework though. So we can start packing my stuff now," I told as my mom put the dishes carefully in a moving box.

"Let's go then, sweetie," said Mom as we went to my room after getting some boxes to start packing some stuff from my room.

Back to Andy's POV:

I was in my room doing my homework after I played my video games. I am still surprised about Liv being adopted though. I noticed I can not call her sister anymore just Liv which is not gonna be too hard since I do call her Liv sometimes. While doing my homework, I heard a knock on my door.

"The door is open by the way," I said as my door opened and I saw Liv.

"Hey Andy," said Liv as I turned my chair around and faced her.

"Hey s-sis, I mean L-Liv," I said as Liv came into my room surprisingly while closing my door.

"I thought you were gonna be playing video games. You cleaned your room as well?," said Liv as she looked at me while she walked up toward me

"Well, I got bored so I am just doing homework after tidying up my room. Also, how did you go with Miss Jones?" I asked her.

"It was great," said Liv as I was smiling at her.

"I am surprised that you came into my room today since you usually don't," I said as Liv looked at me as I looked at her with a smile.

"Andy, at least your room is not messy like last time. Don't get used to me being in a room by the way," said Liv as she elbowed me.

(Shipper(me) aka the Author: Yeah sure Liv. You will be in Andy's room much more(😏) after you find out you are adopted & before you move in with your biological family.)

"Did you need anything else, L-liv?" I said as she looked at me.

"Oh right, Mom and Dad called us for dinner," said Liv as I looked at her.

"Oh ok. I will meet you in the kitchen then," I said to Liv as she looked at me after reaching my door.

"Oh ok, see ya, bro," said Liv as I smiled back at her. As she closed my door, I felt weird inside since she did call me bro even though I know the truth now.

Liv's POV

As I just left Andy's room and was heading downstairs for dinner, I was surprised he cleaned his room and was doing homework. I thought he would be playing video games instead of cleaning or doing homework. Today he seem to be acting strange, I started to worry for him, I hope he is ok. I can't worry too much I have other stuff on my plate like my homework, and I need to tidy up my room after I eat dinner. Not just that but Miss Jones has been asking for my help recently so I can't always think about Andy. After I pondered about Andy and shrugged and headed to the dining room.

Andy's POV:

As I watched Liv leave my room and close the door behind her, I got up and put my homework assignments in my bag. I thought to myself and I know something inside of me feels weird. I was confused, I stuttered and felt a little nervous while talking to Liv. Since now I know Liv is adopted, I do not know why I called her sis. Ugh, I guess it might be harder to stop calling her sister even though I thought it would be easy, but I guess I was wrong. While I left my room and walked downstairs to the kitchen after looking at my phone for a while, I started to recollect my time with Liv in my thoughts. I also was wondering what my relationship with Liv will be like in the future. Now I know she is not my biological sister but my childhood best friend.

Time skip after dinner

Melissa Baker's POV:

I am cleaning up dishes since we just finished eating dinner now. I did notice Andy was much quieter during dinner and he seemed to be in his thoughts while he was eating his dinner too. I could not blame him since he did find out that Liv was adopted a couple of hours ago. I was upset that Andy had to find out Liv was adopted like this since Jay and I had an idea of how to tell him but I guess it happened sooner than expected. I was still happy that my best friend was finally free from her ex-biological parents and moving to New York. It has been a while since the last time I saw her was at the beginning of 2014 before we started being busy with packing boxes to move to New York. I am also happy that Larissa and Ivor will see their first daughter many years later. I just hope that when Larissa does come to New York, Liv will probably be happy to meet her biological family. Let's just hope she won't be too upset about finding out she is adopted. I also hope Andy would be fine with keeping Liv being adopted a secret after he tells Mike someday. I guess only time will tell us.
