Chapter-4: Who Are You Now? Pt.2

*Jayde's POV*

It's Friday. Kellin should be arriving soon. Babysitting Copeland went well.

~flashback~

I was sitting there playing with Copeland. We were building with the blocks that have abcs on them. I took a picture of her and posted it on Instagram. The caption was: 'babysitting Copeland<3 working on abc's & 123's(:' I decided to get up and start making lunch. After I was done, I was just about to call her in here when she came running to me.

"Jay" she said in the cutest baby voice.

"What sweetie?" I said looking at her.

"I wuv yew" she said giggling.

"Aweee baby girl, I love you too. Now lets eat!" I replied and kissed her on her cheek.

~end of flashback~

Ever since I told everyone that Kellin was coming, Mariah has been acting weird. I mention his name and she jumps. I'll definately keep my eye on her. She's not the type of person who will go after someone who is married.

That's when my thoughts were interrupted by my phone that started ringing. I looked at the caller ID: Kellin. I sighed, here we go for excuses, like always.

"Hello?" I said while answering my phone and pressing it to my ear.

"Hey Jay! I'll be there in 5. I just wanted to let you know." He said in a cheerful tone. Fucking idiot. I can't fucking stand him.

"Okay, sounds great!" I said in a fake cheery tone. I'm literally dying on the inside. I'm crumbling bit by bit. I didn't want to hear what he had to say. I just hung up.

I walked over to the intercom. I pressed the button to Mariah's room. "Riah! Kellin will be here in 5! Get your ass down here!" I growled. I am not looking forward to this. I heard a door slam and someone running down the stairs. I look up and see Mariah standing there with a smile painted on her face.

The doorbell rang and I sighed and rolled my eyes. I walked to the door plastering a smile on my face! "Kellin! It's so great to see you! I missed you so much!" I said in my fake happy voice.

"Jay! Oh it's been such a long time, I missed you too!" He said while hugging me. I just smiled and patted his back. He pulled away and looked at Mariah. "Lynn! I missed you!" He yelled and pulled her into a massive bear hug. "Kell, I've missed you too!" She said with a smile and a small laugh, except hers was real. When they pulled away Kellin kissed he cheek and she blushed.

Wtf is going on? Oh well I only invited him for Mariah. "I'll be upstairs, I'm not feeling well." I said.

"Okay! I hope you feel better!" Kellin said with a genuine smile.

"Try not to burn the house down." I muttered as I walked away. I ran to my room and jumped on my bed and just started crying.

I know it's wrong to spy on my friends but I want to know what's going on. So I turned on my tv and switched it to the living room camera as I put on my headset. I heard their whole conversation.

"So how has Lynn been?" Kellin said while looking at Mariah.

"I've been good. Just got out of a relationship, but other than that life is life. How bout you?" She replied.

"I've been good, just touring, making music, and dealing with Katelyn." He replied sighing. Dealing with Katelyn? I wonder what he meant by that. Hmmm.

"Oh I'm sorry, if you ever need to talk, I'm here." Mariah looked at him sincerely.

"Thank you, so uh, what's up with Jay? I mean everything she said has venom dripping from her words." Kellin said worriedly. Fuck him. Pretending like he cares.

"She just can't stand you. She's so hurt by what you did. She's broken. She's been broken." Mariah said sadly. I knew she knew what's been going on and how I feel but she never said anything.

" I should go talk to her. I really fucked up. And I need to fix this. I'll be right back." Kellin said as he stood up and hugged Mariah. I shut the tv off and just started sobbing again. I faced the wall opposite of the door.

I layer there for about what seemed to be forever just sobbing silently. Finally there was a knock on my door and Kellin's soft voice saying, "Jay, it's me. Can I come in so we can talk?" I groaned I don't want to talk to him.

"Go away!" I screamed, my voice cracking. Tears started rolling down my face. Kellin just sighed and opened the door and walked towards me. I just ignored him and turned the other way still sobbing.

"Jay?" He whispered softly.

"What?" I replied with hatred dripping from my tongue. He sighed and layed next to me. Cuddling me to his chest while I shook violently with sobs.

After I calmed down, I was still crying I looked up and Kellin was looking at me. I looked into his eyes with tears rolling down my cheeks. "Who are you now?" I whispered. This got to him.

Tears silently rolled down his cheeks as he said, "I don't know. Everyone looks at me as Kellin Quinn lead singer of Sleeping With Sirens. I love making music but sometimes that's not good enough. I miss goofing off with you and the crew. Everyday I missed you guys. But I didn't want to hurt you guys more when I couldn't be there. So I thought it would be best if I ignored you." I started sobbing again. I just couldn't. He started sobbing too. Eventually after I calmed down Kellin was fast asleep.

"Who are you now? Your not the Kellin I used to be bestfriends with." I whispered and then I fell asleep.

*Jeydon's POV*

When I got to Jayde's house, I walked in, the house was quiet. Hmmph unusual. I know Kellin is here. But where is everyone?

I walked upstairs to check the bedrooms, Mariah was curled up in her bed with All Time Low playing softly. Okay so she is here. Where are the others? I walked down the hall, Damon's door is shut I know he isn't ere, he's at his own house. Ah Jayde's door. I hope she is still awake! I have to talk to her about something very important. I opened her door quietly and found her cuddled up to Kellin. Her face was red and puffy like she'd just been crying.

Honestly this hurt, like a bitch. I know she is just friends with Kellin but seeing her asleep in some one else's arms broke my heart.

I was in love with Jayde. I've been in love with her for a while and I finally got the guts to tell her. Now, I'm completely crushed. Tears streamed down my face as I shut the door silently behind me. I walked down the stairs and out the front door without looking back.
