Lucifer's eyes went wide but tried to save face. Levi stopped playing his game which is a rare sight. Asmo gaped. Satan looked up from his book in shock. Beel stopped eating and Belphie stopped sleeping as they stared at Mammon.

MC looked horrified and confused. The same for Diavolo and Barbatos.

Mammon:....

The whole student council remain silent registering the words the Avatar Of Greed had said to all of them. Resigning?!

Has Mammon lost it?!!

No one had said anything until Lucifer broke the silence.

Lucifer: Mammon...What is the meaning of this?!

Belphie: You can't do that!

Beel: Mammon...Why are you leaving?

Mammon stared dryly at his brothers before explaining himself.

Mammon: Why? You want to know why?

The second eldest let out a emotionless laugh which didn't set right with anyone in the council room.

Mammon: Because I'm fucking tired...

Asmo: T-Tired of what?

Mammon: Tired of all of this...

Satan: What do you mean-?!

Mammon: I MEAN! I'M SICK OF BEING CALLED A SCUMBAG!!! SICK OF Y'ALL INSULTING ME! SICK OF GETTING BLAMED FOR EVERY INCONVIENCE!!! SICK OF YOUR ABUSE! SICK OF YOUR PLEASURE IN MY SUFFERING! Leviathan stares at the ground.

Asmodeus fiddles with the scarf around his neck and Beel looks guilty.

And finally, Mammon's gaze turns to the eldest, who is staring at him wide-eyed, mouth open but no words coming out, and the final blow is delivered.

Mammon doesn't realize he's slowly backed into a corner, or that his knees feel too weak to support him.

MC tries to run over to support him but of course, Lucifer prevents them not too.

Mammon doesn't even realize he's crying until his voice comes out in choked sobs. No one said a thing. All they did was stare.

Are they seeing this correctly? Is Mammon really crying...

They always thought Mammon was better at handling his emotions. But this...seeing all of this was a huge surprise to them.
