Jake smirked when he saw Ron holding his rat in his hands. Jake walked over to Ron casually. "Hey Ron..." Jake said smiling slightly. Ron looked from the rat to Jake.

"Jake why do you have my rat?" Ron asked. Jake smiled abit.

"I was just wondering, well I heard that Scabbers wasn't feeling the best so I just thought maybe I should take him to my father, he has loads of potions that will help Scabbers" Jake said looking at Ron with a fake sympathetic look.

"How do I know Snape won't put poison in the potion" Ron snarled and went to grab the rat. Jake pulled the rat away from Ron.

"Please... I'm just trying to help Ron... Plus my father wouldn't ruin a potion like that and he wouldnt waste poison on a rat" Jake said truthfully. Ron calmed down and nodded. Jake smiled and walked out of the common room. He ran to professor Dumbledores office quickly holding the rat tightly in his hands.

"Fizzy Wizz" Jake said using the first thing that came to mind. The gargoyle moved and Jake chuckled to himself before running up the stairs and knocking on Dumbledores office door.

"Come in" said the old man from the other side of the door. Jake opened the door keeping the rat clenched in his hand. "Hello Jake, what brings you to my office"

"It's my friends rat sir, my friend has uh become very afraid of the rat because it bites him at every mention of Sirius Black... I'm very suspicious of the rat sir.... I think it's actually a person" Jake said calmly. The rat all of a sudden started squirming in Jake's hands. Dumbledores eyes widened, he stood up and pointed his wand at the rat and muttered a spell under his breath.

"Drop the rat" Dumbledores said. Jake did what he was told instantly and the rat started transforming into a human. Once the rat was fully transformed Dumbledore petrified him. "Peter Pettigrew"

Ron walked down the halls towards the dungeons, he wanted to see how his rat was going because it had been a while since Jake had told him he was taking Scabbers to Professor Snape. As Ron was about to knock on Snape's office door, professor Snape opened the door and had a shocked look on his face when he saw Ron standing there. "Excuse me Weasley, I have just had an urgent call from the headmaster" Snape said walking away. Ron looked really confused, where was Jake? And where was his rat?

"Have you got the potion Severus?" Dumbledore asked. Severus nodded and handed professor Dumbledore the potion.

"What is that potion for?" Jake asked. Severus looked at him.

"It stops someone from turning into an animangus, it lasts approximately 24 hours" Severus said slowly before pouring the potion down the petrified men's throat. "Have you notified the ministry headmaster?" Severus asked. Dumbledore nodded.

"you may go Severus" Dumbledore said. Severus nodded and turned towards Jake.

"Come talk to me after you are finished here" Severus said then turning towards the door and walking out. Dumbledore turned towards Jake with a twinkle in his eye.

"Where's Sirius?" Dumbledore asked. Jakes eyes widened.

"How do you know?" Jake asked. Dumbledore smiled softly.

"Although you are good a occlumency most of the time. you haven't realised that your mind opens up when you're excited" Dumbledore said.

"I guess I didn't know that..." Jake said. "Sirius has been staying in the shrieking shack, his name will be cleared right?" Jake asked. Dumbledore nodded.

"Yes I assume so" Dumbledore said. Dumbledore then got out his wand and said. "Expecto Patronum" he said. A Phoenix flew from his wand and Dumbledore whispered to it and the Pheonix flew away.

"What did you just do?" Jake asked. Dumbledore smiled.

"I sent my patronus to your father to tell him to bring me a truth telling potion" Dumbledore said. Jake nodded and looked at the unconscious man on the floor. "It seems that your God father is free Jake" Dumbledore said making Jake look up at him.

"My godfather?"

"Yes yours and Harry's godfather" Dumbledore said slowly so Jake could take this information in.

"Then I'm glad that I've been helping him" Jake said with a smile on his face. Dumbledore raised his eyebrow.

"How have you been sneaking out?" Dumbledore asked but before Jake could answer, the minister of magic, two Aurors and jakes father walked in.

"Undo the spell will you albus" the minister said. Dumbledore nodded and removed the spell. Peter Pettigrew shot up and ran towards the door, he tried to shrink into his animangus form but the potion was working and he couldn't. The two Aurors tackled him into the chair.

"Severus the potion" albus said. Severus nodded and walked towards Peter and forced him to drink the potion. "Peter, who really killed those thirteen muggles?" Dumbledore asked. Peter covered his mouth. The two Aurors pulled his hands away from his mouth.

"I killed those thirteen muggles and fakes my death to make it look like my old friend Sirius Black did it" Peter spat evilly. Dumbledore looked at Peter disgusted but continued to ask Peter the question.

"Who really sold the potters out?" Dumbledore asked.

"I did, they were a fool to make me their secret keeper at last minute"

"Final question Peter, are you a death eater?" Dumbledore asked.

"Of course I am you stupid old man" Peter said.

"Take him away" the minister spat. The Aurors took Peter out. "I wonder where black is now, if only he knew his name had just been cleared" the minister said.

"Jake here knows where Sirius is" Dumbledore said. The minister nodded.

"Take me to him boy"

"I'm sorry but I can't just take the minister of magic to him, I need to tell him first... You see he's really afraid of betrayal, it took him a lot to trust me" Jake said. The minister nodded. "I'll uh go talk to him and then I'll come back and tell you whether he believes me or not" Jake said before walking out of the headmasters office. Ron was walking up the corridor when Jake came out.

"Hey Jake... Did you see those two Aurors dragging some man out the door? Oh and where's Scabbers?" Ron asked.

"It's like you said Ron... He was dragged out the door" Jake said patting Ron on the back before running off. Jake ran outside and transformed into a wolf and made his way to the whomping willow, he couldn't wait to tell his godfather the good news.
