Haze ~ Chapter One

Haze Rowe Whitlock is my name.
Everyone knows it. I'm the heir to the throne. The Future King of the Land of Eternity.
A land of magic and enchantments. A fantasy land. This land is full of many secrets and mystery's hidden away from the mortal world.
The past of this place is unknown and won't likely ever be solved.
But this place is my home the land of my people, the enchanting trees and while my people dance with them.
The Forrest of secrets is very forbidden, the trees are violent, animals are reckless, the Forrest was cruel. Nobody dared to go in the Forrest not even the strongest and bravest soldiers.
Nobody was like me. I always dared to go in the Forrest I always did. The Forrest was cruel but so was I. Every night I would sneak away from the castle was into the Forrest making sure no body was following me. If word got out to my father about this so be it I would be dead the next morning.
Now that I have a stupid bodyguard, I might not be able to see it Forrest once more. I don't want someone being on my back all the time, especially not a pitiful girl.
Her name was " Valentine"
She came from a family of 6 I suppose, all I know is that her mother ran away and left her and her four brothers behind. Everyone knows about it, it was a huge scandal in the Kingdom. But nobody knows why or where she even ended up. Rumors spread like a wildfire around here everybody knows Everything.

I walked back to my chamber, she was instructed to stay by my side at all cost. She followed me like a lost puppy. But her face looked Tricky. I couldn't tell what she was thinking, I couldn't see inside her.
"Dammit" I said, dammit of course I had to say that out loud. I didn't show any emotion, I never did. I'm heartless as they say.

I walk into my chambre, and lay on my bed as she just stands their emotionless.
I hate her. I hate her voice, her name, her eyes. The list could go on.

I sigh as I lay in bed, I look at the time on the clock at it was 1:37 am , I dismiss her of her duties and she walks out.

I get up out of bed, looking for a coat. It's quite early to go out into the forest but I don't think I'll get caught ever

I sneak out of the castle, making sure that stupid girl isn't following me.
I hate my father for letting a pitiful little girl be a bodyguard.

That name runs through my mind.
"Fuck" I said, I hate the fact I think about her and I hate the way she makes words come out of my mouth.

I enter the woods, the wind blows faster, making my hair go in all different directions.
The sound of the wicked trees rumble. The violent creatures crawling around waiting for it's prey. The cracking of the leaves and sticks as I step on them.I stop taking in the fresh air of the forbidden Forrest.
Shit! I hear foot steps, I turn only to find the one I hate the most ( besides my father).

" What are you doing here" I say without any hesitation. Why couldn't I hear her before... That sneaky Bitch.
" Well I'm supposed to be your bodyguard and to stay by your side when you leave the castle, your majesty" shes saids.
" I don't care leave and never speak about this and that is a order"
"I'm sorry your majesty, but I was first given a order by the king to protect you and stay by your side" she said.
If this bitch don't fucking leave I'll give her something to protect and it won't be me.
I start walking once more foot steps behind me once more
"Stop following me" I say, I'm starting to get annoyed
"But-" she says before I cut her off.
"Shut your fucking mouth" I said. She did just that.
" I cant make you leave but I can sure shut you mouth, you don't speak a word about me being here, and you won't make a sound while you're here. You understand." I say with fury, if she won't leave me alone then I can sure make her do my bidden, and I sure can have fun with that.
" i understand your majesty" she saids with a profound voice.
I keep walking until I reach a cave. Are island is only half discovered most people don't like to go outside of the kingdom and out of civilization. Beyond the forbidden Forrest I cannot tell. You can only explore so much at night, I certainly wouldn't like to be eaten by any of the sort.
I can't even enter the fucking cave since the bitch followed me. She hasn't left my mind since she entered.
I start walking back to the castle.
4:32 am.
She follows behind me.
I know every in and out of this damn castle. Every secret passage way, every secret. Nothing is ever what it seems to be in the castle or anywhere in The land of Eternity at-least something is always enchanted.
I take the secret passage way to my room she follows.
She seems confused, honestly I would be to if I just found out the secret passage ways of the castle.
" Where are we going?!" She says with a confused look on her face.
" To my chamber my protector" I say sarcastically with a grin on my face.
She roles her eyes.
Gosh I hate her.... Valentine
We walk down a long hall before getting to the stairs and at the end my chamber.
Finally I can't stand her presents anymore.
Valentine.
We make it to my chamber.
"Leave" I say not even looking at her.
" Dont sneak out like that, how am I supposed to do my job if I don't know where you are"
She said with a serious look.
"What are you my mother" I said with the sarcasm of a five year old.
" Last time I checked you didn't have one"
She said looking at me, into me.
" didn't yours leave?" I say with the widest grin looking right at her.
" Yes, I heard you know "everything", so why are you, your majesty asking me "your protector" a question?" She said with a grin looking into my soul.
I can't listen to her much longer..
"Leave" I say firm.
" right away your majesty" she said and left without another word.
I lay on my bed.
One word ran through my mind, Course through my veins.

I'm going to try and make my chapters atleast 1000 words but less then 2000. I don't want it to go on and on and on. I'll try and update as fast as possible but I'm just starting to get and idea of the next chapter. Their with be two pov one of each character in one chapter.
