(Hella errors)

It started as a lie. Not one of those lies where one of us is playing the other, but the lie where we make together. Maybe we fall for each other and maybe one of us falls harder than the other. It's not as unusual as you think. I'd tell you the entire story in about 5 sentences but that would be boring, wouldn't it? So, I present to you the story of us. "I need to talk to you." Luca pops up next to me, his arms full of books, and his tone almost sounding out of breath. I glance at him, and continue at my fast pace, trying to get to my locker before the bell rings for the next period to start. "About?" I ask as my fingers fiddle with my lock on my locker. "So, I was thinking," He stands next to me, placing his head on the cold locker beside mine. "I got a plan." I pull open my locker, giving Luca another glance, nodding my head for him to go on. I begin to pull out a few books and put some back in as he starts talking again. "We should date." He says it like it was the most casual thing. I look at him with confusion taking over my expression. "Excuse me?" All my motions pause as I stare at him with almost a puzzled look on my face. He puts both his hands up in defense. "Fake date!" He repeats himself just a bit quieter and I end up rolling my eyes and picking up my lock from the inside of my locker and hooking it back in it's place, pushing the lock up, securing it. "I was bored and came up with this idea of us fake dating. I just want to see everyone's reaction to us dating."

See, that was the thing about Luca. He likes reactions. He does stupid things from cracking a joke to something like this; Fake dating his best friend. If you're wondering, I said okay just for the fun of it. So, basically, we -I mean Luca- told everyone the same night that me and him were "dating". The next day, guess what I hear? "I knew it!" "Oh my god, they're so cute!" "#Alice!"or "#Lutima." That's what was buzzing around the school all day. Sydney even tried to make us hold hands. Most awkward day of my life.

I was walking down the hallway about to walk home and Luca suddenly pulled me into a small room. "What the fu-" He covered his hand over my mouth and my eyes widen. At first, I thought of beating the crap out of him but I saw his face and he looked completely terrified. He slowly removed his hand from over my mouth."Fatima, I need your help." He said, sounding out of breath, panting, almost like he had been running. "What?!" I whisper yelled at him, staring up at his dark brown eyes. What I should've asked was 'Why the hell am I in a janitor's closet with you pushing me up against a wall?' "LeiLani is mad at me," He said in a low voice, looking at the closet door knob before he spoke again. "She dumped her girlfriend for me and found out that we were are dating- I mean fake dating." I roll my eyes at him, putting both my hands up to his chest and attempt to push him away from me but he doesn't budge. "And? That's not my problem, and if recall this was your idea, you wanted a reaction and you got it." He huffs frustratedly, his tone getting more angry than scared as he stares down at me, his eyes getting darker than I thought it could get. "Well, since you agreed to this it means you're in it. Now go do that thing where you make people scared of you." He drops one of his arms before he says his second sentence and motions me to the door. "Wait, who am I supposed to be scaring and why is mad LeiLani at YOU?" Luca looks up at the ceiling for a moment as if he were trying to calm himself down before looking back at me. "LeiLani, You're supposed to be scaring LeiLani. She is mad because I maybe flirted with her a little bit and forgot about her before I asked you to be my "girlfriend"." He put his two fingers up as he said girlfriend, bending them with each syllable. "Look, Leilani is my friend and I'm not bout to threaten her because you wanted to be a little thot, Luca." He punches the wall beside my head, causing me to flinch and also causing me to give him the look I give when I'm about to fuck some shit up. "Fatima. Please." "No, I think you should just do the right thing and apologize." I said sincerely. He stares at me for a few seconds before turning away from me and making his way to the door and leaving me alone in this janitors closet. I stood there for a few seconds trying to figure out what had just happened and a solution to this dilemma.
