Caught By The Angel

Chapter 1

There live a king of Angel in his golden palace. Everyone in his kingdom loved him for who he was despite being a cruel ruler. He has no interest in love,to say at least. He felt disgusted when people look at him with those ugly puppy eyes, looking at him as if he is a candy in front of a bunch of kids. He dislike the attention he was received all these years. The king also feel disgusted when one of the neighborhood kingdom want to form an alliance by marriage. Everyone know he has no love interest. No one but his childhood friend know that he had take interested in men. Not any men, but a boy who once helped him when he still a baby bone. A skeleton with black bones and have four tentacles behind the back. The king fall in love with the black skeleton at the first sight when the kid help him with his bruise, not caring he was with the heir to the throne or not.
But that was centuries ago.

Time fast if you're having fun. Swad remember all the memories as if it was happened yesterday. On a beautiful sunny day, Swad looking at the boy fell in love with.

"Nighty, I have something to tell you. And I want to ask you something. " Swad's face became blushing mess.  His breath become ragged and shaking. The innocent black skeleton look at Swad uncertainly.  He hold Swad's hand and whisper that everythings gonna be okay.

"What is it,Swad? If something bad happened, it's gonna be okay. " said him, hugging Swad tightly.

" I'm going to be the heir of the throne on my 18th birthday, the day I will became immortal. And father said I need to find a male before the occasion. What should I do, Nightmare? I need to mark someone to be my mate, my future queen. Father should have known that I'm not interested in Love or anything. I'm fricking asexual for the flips sake. " Swad hugs Nightmare tighter and sobs into his shirt. He's too young to find a mate. Plus, he never be friend anyone expect Nightmare.

"Let me mark you, Nighty." Swad look into Nightmare's eyes with a stern face. Nightmare's face flushed cyan and he starts talking nonesence about gender and is it legal to the royalty to marry another man to became the queen.

"B-but we are both boys! It's illegal to mark or get married to the same gender-"

" I don't care.  I want you to be my queen, my wife. I'm the next king. I'll change the rules if I had to Nightmare's neck and nibble on it, making Nightmare shudder.

" I-I give consent-" Nightmare was cut off when Swad bite his collar bone, HARD.  He winced in pain, letting out a small scream. Swad push his fangs deeper, making sure to leave a permanent scar. He pull his fangs out and look at the teary ball of goops.

" I'm sorry, Nighty. l-l loose control. But it's finally over. You're finally mine, Nighty. You're my mate now.  I'll give you all my love and you can't escape me if you want to, darling. You're mine for eternity. "

"S-swad, you're scaring me." said Nightmare, holding his bleeding shoulder. He want run away and he knows he can't stay at the garden anymore. He need to go... but he can't just run away. As if the god heard his prayer, Nightmare's mother came to the garden along with Dream, Nightmare's twin brother.

" Nightmare? Let's go home, it's already evening. We're late for our ship- Oh god!  Nightmare! What happened to your shoulder ?!" Both of them rushed towards Nightmare.

"Your highness, what's wrong with brother? " Dream asks Swad who just standing behind them.

"A-a hound trying t-to attack him. I protect him but the hound bit me. Said Nightmare weakly.

" It does look like that. The bite look deep. Let's go home and patch him. Please excuse us, your highness. " Dream help his mother to their home and put a cloth in warm water and put it on Nightmare wound. Nightmare hissed in pain and glare at Dream. After patch him up, we need to get to the dork. We're going to another kingdom." said Joku, the twin's mother. They gonna leave the Celestial kingdom due to Joku's new job in nouthern kingdom. The journey will take 8 days by ship if there's no storm. Nightmare look uneasy and ask his mother.

"Mom, what happen is someone get marked by a royalty? " Joku think for a moment and saw a book an the book shelf

"The book says, 'if someone got marked by someone common. They can't marry someone  else other that the one who marked them. As for royalty, the submissive one will became stronger if they're away from the royalty that marked them. But for the royalty, they will became more possessive and obsessive towards their mate. They need to breed their mate as soon as both of them are legal to get married. They need to have a heir and the mate to the royalty will be a queen if the royalty is the king. The higher their rank as royalty, more dangerous they are if they're away from their mate.'" said her.

"C-can I stay here? " Nightmare winced when Joku put some alcohol on his wound.

"We can't, my dear. We need to move from here. I found a better job. We can visit grandma." Said Joku. Nightmare bit his lower lips. He want to visit his grandparents but at the same time, he know that he can't stay away from Swad until he's fully mated.

"What the other thing I need to known about mate? "
Joku smiled and shake her head. She give him a warm smile and kiss nightmare's skull

" You will understand it soon, my dear. You're only 15,Nightmare. Why do you ask?" Nightmare shake his head but regret doing so. Nightmare's shoulder didn't heal properly. It leave permanent scar.

"Oh, god.... Nightmare... It's not a normal bite isn't it? Tell me the truth. " said Joku, looking intensely at Nightmare. Nightmare was shaking badly but he know it's no use to hide anymore.

"S-someone bite me. They actually going to mark prince Swad, but they bite me when I push Swad to protect him. " said Nightmare while crying. Dream hugs the crying goopy ball. Miss Joku ressure Nightmare  by saying that the mark will disappear when they're for enough from the one who bit him.

"Hush, dear... It's not your fault. You're just protecting the prince. You're his knight in shining armor, dear. Let's pack our thing. The shop will leave in an hour. "said Joku while bandaging Nightmare's neck.

"Cheer up, brother! we can meet grandma and grandpa! "said Dream cheerfully. Nightmare nod his head and smile.

" Yeah.. I guess. But will it disappear if the mark is from royal family? " Nightmare ask his mother.
"No, dear. The mark is permanent. But the royalty that marked the other will turn insane, little by little. " said her.

"Let's go visit grandma I guess.. "

"Let's go! " said Dream cheerfully. Swad never know that he won't saw his mate for along time. Swad's mother, the queen,miss Song knew about miss Joku's move. But she never know Swad already marked Nightmare.

Swad wait for nightmare at their usual spot. He sat there for hours...but Nightmare never came.

"that's weird. Nighty never missed to play with me. " said him while mumbing and nervous about Nightmare. The queen saw this and asks her oldest son.

"Swad? You're been stay in the garden and talk to your self for hours. What are you doing, dear?" Miss Song asks him. Swad just shake his head, slumled down onto the grass. His wings wrapped around his body, as if he's in a blanked. He take a deep breath and he stand up look at his mother.

"Nighty never miss to play with me, along with Dream and Moon. Today, Nighty and Dream never come. " said Swad with a sad tone. Miss Song blinked and give him a sad smile.

"Nighty never told you?  Dream, Nightmare and his mother moved to nouthern kingdom last night. I thought madam Joku already told you? " The queen look at his son with uncertainly. Swad's face become pale and his breath become ragged and shacking. His legs lose his strength and he fell down onto the grass. He fell unconscious, he can't breath properly due to the panic attack.

"Swad? Swad?! Guards! Guards! Take him to his room! Call the best doctor! Now! " Shouted the queen to her guards. The guards took Swad to his room and tuck him in. They also brought Dr. Sci to the palace to diagnosis Swad's illness. The king himself visit his oldest son despite a lot of paperwork to do.

"How is he? " The king ask Sci. Sci look at his paper and shake his head.

"Your majesty, Prince Swad is currently unconscious caused by a shock. My I ask, is he hyperventilating before he pass out? May I ask why? " Sci look at his paper while writing something on it.

"Yes, he did. I think it's because I told him about madam Joku and his sons moved to nouthern kingdom last night. He's shaking, as if he just lost something important. I think he also thought about finding a mate before he turns 18 next year. " Said the queen.
