Back For You (A Niall Horan Fanfiction)

{Chapter 15}

We finished our second funnel cake and decided to start walking around.

"So, what do you want to do?" Niall asked, wrapping an arm around me. I smiled up at him. "Let's ride the biggest one we can find!" I said excitedly. "Sounds great! He smiled back at me.

God, his smile makes me melt.

We found the biggest ride easily and hoped in line. Since its a Wednesday, not many people were here, meaning the lines are really short.

Soon we were next in line.

I am so excited! I've always loved roller coasters. I'm the kind of girl who gets nervous at first, but never scared. I've never been afraid of heights or anything. As I was waiting for my turn, someone's arms wrapped around me from behind.

I shivered when I felt hot breath on my neck.

"You scared?" A pair of lips asked. I spun around to face my boyfriend.

"Not at all." I said, kissing him. "Are you?" I asked.

"Maybe," he said. Then it was our turn. "Come on!" I said, taking his hand and walking over to the cart. We climbed in and buckled up.

*Niall's POV*

"Come on!" She said, taking my hand. She is so cute. I'm so glad she's finally mine... And that I don't have to compete with josh, because I would lose.

Sure, I've got a bit of abs, but josh has it all. He's got the looks, body, everything.

The sudden movement of the cart snapped me out of my thoughts. To be honest, I hate roller coasters. I have this fear of falling out... Especially on the ones that go upside down.... Like this one.

Breathe. It'll be fine. Just breathe...

"Hey, you aren't scared, are you?" Kate said with clear amusement.

"Nah..." I am a terrible liar.

She just laughed and took my hand as the coaster reached the top of the hill.

I silently said goodbye to everyone I love right before we dropped. I heard a high pitched scream come from somewhere next to me...

Wait, that might have been me. The ride took us through multiple loops and hills until finally, it was over. Hey, that was actually.. Fun!

"Let's go again!" I said to Kate as we climbed out. She laughed. We rode it a few more times then went to ride some more rides. We rode this ride that takes your picture at the end, and when we went to see the picture I thought Kate was going to die laughing right there. I have to admit... It was pretty funny.

In the picture, Kate had her cheeks puffed out and eyes really big, looking straight at the camera, while I had my eyes closed, bracing myself for the splash of water at the end.

What? I was just getting ready! And how was I supposed to know that that was where the camera was?

I sighed and bought the picture. I gave it to Kate and she put it in her pocket. "We should probably check in with the boys." She said. I nodded as I took my phone out and called Liam. "Hello?" He said. "Hey, where is everyone? Want to meet up?" I asked. "Yeah, we are all by the Superman ride." He said. I heard Louis in the back ground yell "SUPERMAAAAAN!" I laughed.

"Okay, we'll be there in a second!" I said and hung up. "Where are we going?" Kate asked. "To the superman ride." I said. She smiled...

Almost evilly. "What?" I asked. "Oh nothing..." She said. Oh no... What is she thinking...

*Kate's POV*

"To the superman ride." Niall said and I smiled. I am sooo making him go on that ride. If he was afraid of the other rides, he's going to be terrified of the superman.

It's the one that goes straight up into the air then drops. "What?" He asked. "Oh nothing...." I said.

We continued walking and soon I saw Liam and the rest of the boys sitting on a bench. Louis was running around shouting "SUPERMAAAAN!" And Zayn was sitting in Harry's lap.. "Uh.. What's going on here?" I asked. Liam chuckled. "Oh just the usual." He said and I laughed.

"Well lets ride the superman!" I said. "Finally!" Louis shouted. "Ha! I am not. Riding that." Zayn said, looking at the ride.

"Me neither." Niall said. "Oh, but you are." I said, taking his hand and pulling him towards the ride. "Noooo!" He protested. "Yes!" I said, bringing up over to the line. Louis and Harry helped me hold him hostage while we waited, and soon it was our turn. Not many people ride this one so the line was short.

We walked up to the seats and Niall finally gave in. We all buckled up and prepared for the ride. We started moving up and up, and after a minute Niall asked me

"Why did you make me do this...." I smiled at him. "Because, you can't come to an amusement park and NOT ride the superman!" I said. He just nodded and looked down.

Wow.. We are really far up. I felt kind of guilty making him do this, but I had to! The ride stopped.

I took Niall's hand and closed my eyes. This is the best part...

The ride dropped. Literally. And we went flying down.

All of a sudden it stopped and I opened my eyes. We weren't even at the bottom. I closed my eyes again and the ride went up really fast then dropped again, and then up and down and up and down until finally I opened my eyes and saw we were at the bottom.

I looked over at Niall and saw an amused expression on his face. I realized I had been squeezing his hand the whole time. I let go and he laughed. "You were scared!" He said. "I was not!" I defended myself... Even though I was pretty terrified.

"Then why were you gripping onto my hand for dear life while your eyes were closed the entire time?" He asked. I just let out a huff and he smiled a victorious smile.

We walked back over to Zayn and Liam. "Well, it's 6:00! The park closes soon. We should go." Liam said. We all nodded and headed towards the entrance. We got in the car and I sat next to Niall. I am pooped. I laid my head on his shoulder and soon fell asleep.
