Chapter 2 - The Tweaks

Kennie's pov:

It's 6pm, I am looking out the window I have in my halfly empty bedroom filled with boxes. Wearing my hair in pigtails and wearing a strawberry spotted orange dress with puffy sleeves and I wore my favourite pair of shoes!

It's been 5 days since I moved to south park. It's a bit hard for me to adjust. And schools gonna start in a week.. I can't wait to meet new friends there!

Lately, All my parents have been talking about is this family, They're the Tweaks. My parents kept on telling me that they're gonna be over for dinner tonight.. You see, my dad's childhood friends with Mr. Tweak and he just wants to reunite with him. My mom was also classmates with Mr Tweak when they were 4th graders. And they're gonna be here in a few minutes, The family has a kid that's my age. We could be friends! I'm excited.

A few minutes passed.

"KENNIE COME DOWN HERE! THEY'RE GONNA BE HERE ANY SECOND!" My mom yelled.

"Yhea! Kayyy!" I responded.

I go downstairs and see that the living room, the kitchen everything looks so organized and we'll decorated.

It was really worth the work. The house looks really nice and it feels like we moved here a month ago even if it has only been 5 days.

I sat at the dining table with my mom sitting next to me and steak was served on everybody's plate. meanwhile dad was waiting at the door.

The doorbell finally rang. And My dad welcomes the family in. A brown haired lady with short hair and bangs and a plain sky blue dress that reached her knees came in with her husband that also has brown hair and is wearing a white polo shirt with a red tie and some black pants with a belt on and a twitchy kid with blonde and messy hair and a green polo on with black pants came while looking down the floor refusing to make eye contact with anybody. He looked really anxious not gonna lie.. I wonder why?

The Tweaks came and sat down and the twitchy blonde kid sat next to me, While the adults were talking I tried initiating a conversation.

"Hi! I'm kennie. I just moved here a few days ago, it's kind of hard to adjust to this town but I'm pretty sure I'll get used to it! And I'm willing to make a lot of friends here. I really hope I do, How are you doing?"

Oh jeez maybe I talked too much I just got overly excited..

"O-oh! My name's tweek. I'm uh doing okay.."

"Tweek? Your last name is your first name? "

"It's spelt differently, Tweek tweak. People always say t-that."

"Alright! I like your shoes by the way. I love collecting shoes and boots, I have a whole collection up my room!! Well what things do you like, Tweek? You seem very coolsies"

"Th-thankyou. Nobody's ever told me I was interesting. They think I'm a-a bit weird I guess...alot of people think I'm weird cause I'm twitchy or whatever, and i-i like baking and coffee.... My parents own a coffee shop n-next to our house I work there."

"You're welcome. Those people who call you and I weird are just dumbasses. Being weird is pretty cool and "weirdos" like us always stick together. My parents already told me that. Going to school and working? Man that must be exhausting I won't last an hour if I were you!'

"You're augh- You're a pretty nice person kennie. I'm sure you'll find alot of friends he-here!"

"Awh thanks! You know alot of people in my old school think I was weird too, they'd constantly call me some type of crackhead or something cause the words I said didn't make sense but I don't really care lollzzz hehe."

"I'm glad we have something in comm-common!"

"Yeah me too tweek."

"Hey tweek, you're going to south park school too right? My mom told me I'll go there"

"Y-yhea! Actually I've been going to that school for y-years now! I Augh- and I know a-alot of people there.."

"Oh my stars we're going to the same school?? I'll get to know you more that's great!!! I'm really really really excited I seriously can't wait another week eeekk!"

"I'm exc-excited too I guess.. b-but I'm just a bit scared to see someone there.."

"If you don't mind telling me, Why?"

"W-well uh it's a bit too personal.."

"That's alright if you don't wanna tell me ya know."

20 minutes has passed me and Tweek kept on talking and having a lot of fun, He seems to like my vibe.

"Oh well it seems like these two are getting along, Aren't they?" Mrs tweek announced

"That's wonderful to hear!" My father replied

"Well it was really great to have you guys here" My mother said

"I'm glad we all had a great time here tonight. Well we're off now, Tweek come say thank you to Mrs and Mr Vincent and say goodbye to your new friend kenni too." Mr Tweak exclaimed

"Th-thankyou Mr and Mr Vincent. And goodbye kennie, See you at school next week!"

"Oh you're welcome!" My mother replied

"Goodbye tweek seee yaa at school!!" I chimed as the Tweaks left our house.
