We meet once again.

No one pov

--A few months later--

Months had gone by, and yet no one was willing to adopt Xiaotain. Perhaps it was because of how loud and hyper he could be. (Adhd go brrrrrr) Or perhaps it was because of his unusual features? Either way, Xiaotain didn't care, because he had Mr.Tang! Though today was the day Xiaotain was finally going to get adopted! Tang was on his way to tell Xaiotain, the great news, but he couldn't seem to find him anywhere. Panic ran through Tang, as he looked everywhere in Xiaotain's room, but he couldn't find anything except...

"oh, my gods..." Tang's eyes widened as he saw an open window. He looked out and saw that the bushes were ruined. He looked in the drawers and saw that some clothes were missing, along with Xiaotain's Monkey King backpack (that Tang bought him as a gift.) He ran out of the room. Ohhhh, how was he gonna tell Xiaotain's adopter, that the kid ran away? He was screwed.

--Now we're moving to Xiaotain--

Xiaotain's pov

I walked through Megapolis, eyeing everything with awe and admiration. I had my hood up so no one would see what I looked like. I was wearing my slightly oversized yellow jacket, with the Monkey Kings logo on the back! I heard my stomach grumble, I looked in my bag to see if I had any snacks left. Nope. I sighed and looked around to see if there was a food stand or something. I swung my slightly heavy bag on my shoulder, as I walked continued walking around. "Food!" I whispered to myself happily as I walked and tried running over to a meat stand, that was until a big crowd started trampling over me. "Agh-! Uhm. E-excuse me-!" I tried yelling over them, I felt someone step on my tail. "Ow!" I yelped in pain as I curled my tail up. I could feel myself starting to get overwhelmed by all the loud noises and people. I closed my eyes and pulled my hood down further, trying to block out all the noise out. I curled on the ground, as tears streamed down my face. The pain in my tail was still there, I could feel myself being pushed as people tried going through and out of the big crowd.

"Hey, you ok kid?"

hmmmmmmmmmm, who could this strange person be??? Perhaps a new ally? Or a new foe? Welp well see!

"Hey, you Okay kid?" I heard a low calm voice ask me, I opened my eyes to see a man whose hood was also up, but he had strange markings on his face, like me! Though instead of it being a peachy color, it was a bold red with feathered-like edges instead of round like mine! He also had golden eyes unlike me, mine were a bold red. (Y'know cause Wukong was put in the furnace and he gained super cool red eyes???) He also had tanned skin and black hair. "Hey uh, kid?" He crouched in front of me and snapped his fingers to get my attention. "The crowds gone now." The man held out his hand for me to grab. "Th-thank you," I said shyly, as I gratefully took his hand. "What's a kid like you, doing in a place like this?" The man asked tilting his head slightly, "I-" Before I could reply my stomach let out a loud rumble, and I blushed from embarrassment as I looked away. I heard the stranger let out a chuckle. "I see...you wanna get something to eat?" The man asked pointing towards the meat stand a few feet behind him. I hesitated, "Mr.Tang told me not to go with any strangers," I admitted, my tail wrapping around my leg in discomfort from the lack of food, since all I ate were granola bars on my way here.

"Well, my name's Macaque. And you are?" Macaque crouched down to my level again, "My names Qi Xiaotain." Macaque held his hand out, "See! Now we're no longer strangers!" Macaque smiled slightly, I put my hand in his, and he got up once again, and we headed towards the meat stand.
